ABC’s improbable full-cast revival of “Roseanne” is real, and now it has a premiere date. Fans of the show can find out just how the heck Dan Connors is still alive when the nine-episode 10th season debuts with a special hour-long episode on Tuesday, March 27 at 8 p.m. The full cast from the show’s original run is returning for the new go-round, including Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, and both Beckys — Lecy Goranson, who originated the character and will play her in the revival, and Sarah Chalke, who will play a new character.

Telltale Games, arguably one of the busiest studios in the industry of late, has announced that Kevin Bruner has been appointed as CEO of the company, moving up from his former position as co-founder.
This news means that Bruner has replaced Dan Connors at the head of the company, who has transitioned into the role of an executive advisor. In tandem with these managerial changes, the newly-appointed CEO revealed that Telltale is also working on an all-new IP.
“We’re already working on some of the biggest franchises in entertainment, and when you add our unannounced partnerships and upcoming original IP, it’s clear the most exciting time to be at Telltale is now, and there will continue to be more and more opportunity to innovate ahead of us,” Bruner said.

A new featurette is out for Creative Assembly's upcoming single-player survival horror game based on the classic Ridley Scott film. The game is slated to launch later this year on PS3, PS4, 360, XB1 and PC.
The company is taking a lo-fi sci-fi approach, to the point that no technology developed after 1979 will be included, so all the tech seen is "push-button... clunky, glitchy and imperfect."

John Goodman is one of the most welcome sights on the big or small screen. From Dan Connors to the cycloptic Bible salesman and fascist Big Dan Teague Goodman has been a mainstay of American TV and, more recently, is responsible for some wonderful turns in American cinema.
He has worked six times with the Coens, most notably perhaps as Vietnam Vet and enthusaistic follower of Judiasm Walter Sobchak, and in Inside Llewyn Davis Goodman plays the disagreeable Roland Turner with whom Llewyn travels with for a time.
James Kleinmann sat down with the actor to talk about how it feels, as an actor to work with the Coen Brothers.

The stunning and surprising deal that the folks at Telltale made a couple of days ago with HBO – to create an “episodic, interactive gaming series” based on the global dragons ‘n’ shit sensation Game of Thrones - may be more expansive than we originally dared dream. This is going to be a project spanning years and multiple titles, according to Dan Connors, valiant CEO and King of House Telltale:
Since the very beginning, Telltale’s goal has been to work alongside the most talented and respected forces in entertainment, bringing their worlds to the interactive space as no other game studio can… Working with HBO to develop a new game series based on Game of Thrones is a natural fit for our studio. This partnership will create an experience that will captivate the huge, global Game of Thrones audience. It will put them in control of the epic stories of warfare,...

There's always one day during the Sdcc when you just shake your head, laugh, and say, "This schedule is ridiculous." Saturday, July 20th, is shaping up to be that day this year.
Horror fans will have a lot of choices to make as the "Bates Motel" panel battles the one-two punch of Godzilla and Seventh Son. Later in the day you'll be faced with choosing to learn more about "True Blood," Telltale's The Walking Dead video game, or "Being Human." Right now 20th Century Fox's presentation that runs at the same time remains "To Be Announced," but once details are revealed, we'll provide an update.
Other panels vying for your attention throughout the day are "The Originals," "Grimm," I, Frankenstein teamed with The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (that combination should make for some interesting audience reactions), a look at gameplay from Dead Rising 3 on the Xbox One, more games, comics,...

After TellTale Games released an unexpected hit with The Walking Dead, which was met with notorious critical acclaim and won multiple Game Of The Year awards, the studio is back with another comic adaptation. This time it's DC Comics' Fables, which was announced back in 2011. However, this video game is a prequel to the comics and is titled The Wolf Among Us. The game will follow Bigby Wolf as the main protagonist as he is exiled to New York City and must keep fairy tale creatures undetected in our world. TellTale CEO Dan Connors said that “Developing The Wolf Among Us based on the Fables universe has allowed our studio to build upon all of the hallmarks of what makes our episodic series so engaging for players,”. Telltale Games’ executive producer Kevin Boyle and the studio’s co-founder Kevin Bruner have hinted that the second season of The Walking Dead might allow PlayStation 3 save files to transfer over to the upcoming PlayStation 4.
One of the most disappointing bits of news that Sony confirmed during their PlayStation 4 reveal last month, was that PS3 game saves would not be compatible with the PS4. While this would be little more than an inconvenience for most PS3 games played via the PlayStation Cloud on the next-gen console, it would be a deal breaker for future episodes of The Walking Dead, which are heavily tailored by player choice.
Speaking to IGN at the BAFTA Game Awards, Boyle suggested there might be good news on the question of PS3 game saves, saying:

Even the Brits love some Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead game took home a BAFTA this year's British Academy Games awards, for mobile and handheld and an award for best story. Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead is a point-and-click, episodic game first released in 2012. It’s more about problem solving than straight combat, and focuses on characterization.
It's going to be a while before Season 2 wil be out, but here's what fans can expect from the next version, according to Telltale CEO Dan Connors, "I think we’re just at the tip of the iceberg as far as what this is. Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead was easily one of the biggest surprise hits of last year. Prior to the release of the first episode none of us could have predicted that adventure game would end up at (or very near) the top of so many “Best of 2012″ lists, nor could we have foreseen the huge pile of tissues that would be required to wipe away tears during the final episode.
Naturally, everyone’s attention has now turned to the much anticipated second season of The Walking Dead. While we still don’t know any details about where the story is headed, Dan Connors (Telltale Games’ co-founder) recently told Polygon that “anything is possible” — even a tie-in with the popular TV show.
“There’s nothing saying our characters couldn’t cross over with their characters at some point in the timeline,” Connors said. “It’s a very interesting concept for us.

If you’re like me (and the countless other people) who loved Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead, then you're probably super anxious for Season 2 to come out. Now we don’t have an exact timeframe on when the next season will be released, but we do have some info about what the studio is working on currently… game saves.
** I should probably go ahead and put up a huge Spoiler Warning for anyone who has not played Season 1 yet, because what follows will talk about that. **
So if you have played the game, then you know that one of the big features is the fact that every action you make affects how the story plays out. But what about when Season 2 rolls around? How will the story you have played thus far carry over to the new season? Well that’s the primary focus right now for Telltale, and they...

Telltale Games’ return to the point-and-click adventure genre with The Walking Dead seems to have been a very wise decision. Dan Connors, CEO of Telltale, recently unveiled the impressive numbers to The Wall Street Journal, you can check out what he had to say below.
“To date, it’s sold 8.5 million episodes and it’s been in the marketplace for seven months. November and December were our biggest months. It was the culmination of the product, the game of the year awards, the retail push, and it still has a ton of head room in it Apple has featured us a bunch of times for each of the episodes, and it’s in Apple’s Hall of Fame (for iPhone and iPad apps).”

To say we're excited about the second season of Telltale's "The Walking Dead" would be a huge understatement, but what about all of the difficult choices we had to make throughout the first five episodes? Will those decisions affect the continued story? Apparently, Telltale is looking into it.
In a recent chat with Red Bull UK, Telltale Games CEO Dan Connors said the team is currently looking into different ways to carry save data from the first season over to the second season, which Telltale is already working on.
"Right now we are just starting to form the concept for season two," Connors said in the interview. "This all remains to be seen, but we are definitely figuring out how to carry the saves over."
So, it seems likely that the decisions we made in the ifrst five episodes will effect the story right from the get-go in season two.

It was only released a few weeks ago but Walking Dead Episode 1 has already passed 1 million in sales across Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and PlayStation 3.
Walking Dead Episode 1 has gotten rave reviews from almost everyone who has played it and Telltale Games should get a lot of credit for creating one of the few good adaptation video games.
Telltale CEO Dan Connors said;
“Premiering The Walking Dead game series to record numbers across so many diverse platforms is a tremendous achievement that shows the value of bringing strong storytelling and game play together, The tailored narrative design puts gamers in control of their own story within the universe of The Walking Dead in a way that appeals equally to hardcore gamers and to more casual gamers who are fans of the franchise. The most exciting aspect of getting off to such a great start is that this is just the beginning of the five episode series.

I'm a big fan of zombie video games I simply enjoy killing the hell out of zombies. My only hope is that the game ends up being just as good as the TV series and comic. CEO, Dan Connors, does say that the new game will feature action, and that it just wont be the central focus of how the game plays out.
We’ll rarely give you a level where you blast through and have a horde of zombies attacking. It’s more like the franchise itself where people don’t usually go on zombie killing sprees, but you do have to take out zombies in different contexts.

After a close call in which NBC Universal put the series on hold indefinitely, Dick Wolf's latest police/courtroom procedural, "Law & Order: La," is officially on the air as of last week. That series will never die. Especially not if it keeps popping up in other media. Like an episodic series of adventure games, which is officially happening and in the capable hands of Telltale Games, the same studio that reintroduced "Back to the Future" to a new generation of gamers.
