Catherine Cunneff

As the daughter of an NBC executive, Catherine Cunneff and her family moved from New York City to Los Angeles with the cast and crew of the Tonight Show in 1971. Relocating from Burbank to Hollywood after graduating from High School, Catherine launched her career working as a model and actress. After many attempts at stardom, she attended the Art Center school of design where she studied photography. She then worked as a photo assistant and stylist after graduation for many well known photographers in LA. She was represented by the Cloutier agency as a photo stylist and had representation from ICM as an actress. Unable to get any consistent work as an actress, she continued her work as a stylist and found steady work. She became the photo stylist to Mike McNeilly and designed catalogs for Bullocks, Broadway, May Co and dozens of other popular retailers of the time. As an Art Director for several major retailers, she made the transition to computer based graphics in the late 1980's. In1989 Catherine Cunneff married the son of actress Eve Arden, writer/director, Douglas Brooks West. They have two daughters and have remained in Los Angeles these many years. Catherine has worked for magazines, furniture retailers and health clubs owners as the head of advertising, graphics and marketing since abandoning her acting career. She made appearances on game shows that include The Dating Game and Super Password as Catherine Cunneff.
