“Seal Team” is headed to Northern Syria in the heart-pounding trailer for Season 6 of the Paramount+ series, which dropped Friday.
In addition to the trailer, which shows Clay (Max Thieriot) in bad shape, the streamer announced the 10-episode season will premiere Sept. 18.

His team includes his trusted confidant, Ray Perry, the longest-tenured operator with whom Jason shares an ingrained shorthand; Sonny Quinn (Buckley), an exceptional, loyal soldier with a checkered past who still combats self-destructive tendencies; Clay Spenser (Thieriot), a young, multilingual second-generation Seal with insatiable drive and...

Is Seal Team about to lose another of its own when it returns for Season 6? The trailer makes it look like one of Bravo might not survive following the Season 5 cliffhanger in which they were ambushed. Paramount+, in announcing that the military drama will premiere its sixth season on Sunday, September 18 (the 10 episodes drop weekly), unveiled the official trailer and key art. While the returning cast — David Boreanaz (Jason Hayes), Neil Brown Jr. (Ray Perry), Max Thieriot (Clay Spenser), A.J. Buckley (Sonny Quinn), and Toni Trucks (Lisa Davis) — is all present in the latter, the former has us very worried about one of the team. Not pictured is new series regular Raffi Barsoumian, who stars as Omar Hamza, a senior chief with fifteen years of experience as a Seal and the son of Syrian immigrants with a deep understanding of the Middle East. Paramount+ As Season 5 ended, the elite team...

Seal Team Season 6 is going to be the most dramatic yet.
Paramount+ released the official trailer for the new season of the hit original drama series and revealed the season will get underway on Sunday, September 18.
Produced by CBS Studios, the series will debut all-new episodes weekly on Sundays exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. Seal Team stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown, Jr., Aj Buckley, Toni Trucks, and Raffi Barsoumian.
The official trailer is a shocker because it gives us some context about the state of the Bravo Team following Seal Team Season 5 Episode 14, which left the team in more danger than ever.
If we take the trailer at face value, Clay is the only member of the team not to escape unscathed.
Sure, everyone has cuts and bruises, but Clay is hospitalized, and his condition does not look good.
He says as much in the trailer...

We've spent years watching the highs and lows of the Bravo Team, and we're about to witness Jason hitting rock bottom.
In a new teaser for the final three episodes of Seal Team Season 5, Jason is spiraling out of control as Ray reveals he knows what's happening.
We get glimpses of Jason questioning his mortality before the clip ends with him holding a gun.
If you watch Seal Team online, you know Jason has been battling a Tbi and has been losing his memory.
It almost got the team killed on a mission, and people have slowly realized something is amiss with him.
Understandably, Jason has been in denial, not wanting to admit to being off his game, and it has elevated the conflict in his team.
Clay confronted him on Seal Team Season 5 Episode 10, and it resulted in them having a war of words and Clay getting shoved.

Seal Team is leaving CBS behind.
That much we've known for a while now.
As previously reported, Seal Team Season 5 will begin its run on CBS Sunday, October 10 at 10/9c.
The first four episodes will air on CBS before it moves full-time to Paramount+.
The CBS series finale airs Sunday, October 31.
According to TV Line Seal Team Season 5 Episode 5 will be available following the West Coast airing of the CBS finale.
It means fans will get two episodes of Seal Team on one night, but it probably won't be welcome news for the fans who will not be following the show to Paramount+.
The decision to move the show was due to the robust streaming numbers and the lack of space on the CBS schedule.
"Everyone on Bravo is shocked when they learn a training exercise is really cover for a covert mission to get a weapons expert out of...

Two CBS favorites are headed to Paramount+.
The streaming service from ViacomCBS announced Tuesday that new seasons of CBS dramas Evil and Seal Team will be available exclusively on Paramount+.
The move to Paramount+ from the CBS Television Network follows the series’ success on Paramount+, with Seal Team ranking among the most-watched CBS dramas on the service this season, and Evil ranking similarly as one of the most-watched during its debut season last year.
“Our Studio and Network have a strong track record of developing high-quality dramas that have multiplatform success, and these series speak to that strength,” said George Cheeks, President & CEO of the CBS Entertainment Group.
“These moves mark another example of how our linear and streaming ecosystem can strategically work together to maximize value for the content and benefit the series and its creators.” “We are thrilled to bring new seasons of these phenomenal series to Paramount+,...

The newly formed Theatre Producers of Color organization announced today its first educational program to support and mentor the next generation of Bipoc producers. The 10-week, limited-space program will be tuition free.
“Producers 101″ will feature a guest speaker roster of top Broadway producers to teach what Tpoc says are the fundamentals of commercial producing, including securing rights, marketing and advertising, development paths, financing, and budgeting. The weekly course begins Jan. 25, 2021.
“Oftentimes, the opportunities for learning how to become a commercial producer are inaccessible and out of reach,” said Tpoc founder Miranda Gohh in a statement. “We’ve observed many barriers keeping Bipoc out of commercial producing, and Tpoc strives to break these down and make producing more accessible for a variety of voices. By making all of our programs free, we are allowing any Bipoc regardless of background, level of education, training, or previous accomplishment to join us.”

Just weeks after getting a premiere date at CBS, Seal Team Season 4 has already suffered a major setback.
The David Boreanaz-fronted drama series has been delayed by one week, pushing its highly-anticipated return to December.
But there's some good news.
Seal Team Season 4 will now commence with a two-hour premiere, so we're waiting an extra week, but getting two episodes on night one.
The reason for the delay is that the planned premiere date (November 25) will now feature a double pump of The Amazing Race.
The reality series was set to air two episodes this week, but it was trimmed to one due to election coverage, so the move appears to have had a knock-on effect on the CBS schedule.
S.W.A.T. Season 4 is still slated to launch November 11, but it will be in the 10/9c slot.
As for what's ahead, here's the official logline for the Seal Team premiere.

Seal Team showrunner John Glenn says that Petty Officer Lisa Davis entering and enduring Ocs “was a really important story for me to tell, because I felt like we could do better for Davis as a character,” especially as the CBS series nears the end of its second season.
“This is a big cast and a very very big show, so if you want to step out and tell Lisa Davis’ story, that requires real-world resources — locations and crews and money that’s focused just on her story,” Glenn explained. “But I care about the character a lot, so I...

At last May’s Upfronts, I suggested to CBS’ entertainment chief that Seal Team‘s Season 2 renewal must have been a close call, given, as I put it, the freshman drama’s “disappointing” ratings.
The premise of my question was refuted — Seal Team at the time did rank No. 3 in the demo among all CBS dramas, though it was ninth in the network’s famously and frequently touted measure of total viewership. But to this day, more than midway through Season 2, I maintain that this show should be doing better. And I remain puzzled as to why it isn’t.

“I hate her! I hate dat qveen!” Despite being one of the most maladroit sci-fiers of the ’50s, color and ‘scope and Zsa Za Gabor’s hilarious accent make this Allied Artists offering a must-see head scratcher. Bad taste! Tacky art direction! Infantile sexist humor! The word on the street is that the Me Too movement has this embarrassing howler on their kill list.
