- Tamara Daykarhanova was born on January 14, 1889 in Moscow, Imperial Russia. She was an actress, known for The Three Sisters (1966), Producers' Showcase (1954) and Playhouse 90 (1956). She died on August 2, 1980 in Englewood, New Jersey, USA.
- Daykarhanova began her career with the Moscow Art Theatre. After emigrating to New York in 1929 she opened a drama school with Akim Tamiroff and Maria Ouspenskaya. She remained head of the school until her retirement in 1971.
