Spooky season will soon be in session at L.A.’s Center Theatre Group.
The nonprofit theater company has set Constance Wu, Finn Wittrock, Anna Camp and Adam Rothenberg to star in 2:22 — A Ghost Story, a four-person play described as an “intriguing, funny and scary supernatural thriller.” Previews at Ctg’s Ahmanson Theatre begin Oct. 29 with an official opening set for Nov. 4. The play will then run through Dec. 4.
Written by Danny Robins and directed by Matthew Dunster, A Ghost Story follows Jenny (Wu) who believes her new home is haunted while her husband Sam (Wittrock) isn’t having any of it. They argue with their first dinner guests, an old friend Lauren (Camp) and her new partner Ben (Rothenberg), and after a conversation about beliefs and skepticism, the foursome make a pact to stay up until 2:22 a.m. to know for sure.

Thea Sharrock will direct Clare Higgins in the title role of Mrs Klein in the first London revival of Nicholas Wright's play. Mrs Klein previews at the Almeida Theatre from 22 October 2009 with press night on 29 October 2009 and will run until 5 December 2009. Joining Clare Higgins are Nicola Walker as Paula and Zoe Waites as Melitta. Designs are by Tim Hatley with lighting by Neil Austin and sound by Ian Dickinson.

Mark Rylance and Mackenzie Crook will lead the cast in the West End transfer of the Royal Court Theatre?s sell-out production of Jez Butterworth?s Jerusalem, directed by Ian Rickson. Jerusalem, which received its world premiere at the Royal Court in July and for which Rylance in particular received outstanding reviews, will have a strictly limited 12 week run at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue. Previewing from Thursday 28 January 2010, Jerusalem has its press night on Wednesday 10 February and is booking until Saturday 24 April 2010. Designed by Ultz, with lighting by Mimi Jordan Sherin, sound by Ian Dickinson and music by Stephen Warbeck, Jerusalem is produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions.
