- Al Donahue was born on June 12, 1902 in Dorchester, Massachusetts, USA. He was an actor, known for Sweet Genevieve (1947), Al Donahue and His Orchestra in Harmony Highway (1944) and Come Back to Sorrento (1943). He died on February 20, 1983 in Fallbrook, California, USA.

- Violinist and leader of 'sweet-style' society orchestras. Started his first band at the Weber Duck Inn in Boston in 1925. During the 1930's, he became one of the largest contractors of orchestras performing for hotel chains and steamship lines, at one time having as many as 37 bands engaged. After he gave up leading a band, Donahue became musical and cruise director for the Furness Bermuda Line.
