Was the youngest child of Colonel Thomas Melville Dill (23 Dec 1876 -
1945) and his wife Ruth Rapalje Neilson. Her father was the attorney
general of Bermuda.
Began her career as a Powers agency model. At 20 years old, she appeared on the cover of Life magazine (May 3, 1943).
Upon her death, she was cremated, her ashes had been spread over Bermuda.
Studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
Her son Michael starred as one of the main voices in 'Green Eggs and Ham', which was partly inspired by 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles', a film she featured in.
