The 2000 film Ginger Snaps (watch it Here) is my all-time favorite werewolf movie. That was followed by a sequel – Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed – and a very unexpected prequel – Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning – and while I’m not as enamored with them as I am with the original movie, I do get some enjoyment out of watching them. The oddball prequel especially. If you’re a fan of Ginger Snaps trilogy as well and happen to have a Region B (or region free) Blu-ray player, you’ll be glad to hear that Second Sight Films is packaging all three movies together in a limited edition UK box set that’s going to be released on October 30th. Just in time for Halloween, which happens to be the setting of the first movie.
Copies of the Ginger Snaps trilogy Blu-ray box set can be pre-ordered directly from Second Sight Films.

Lifetime Expands ‘Ripped From The Headlines’ Slate with Five Movies Inspired by Ann Rule (Exclusive)
Lifetime has greenlit five new movies for its “Ripped from the Headlines” slate, all from best-selling true crime author Ann Rule, Variety has learned exclusively. Additionally, Ashley Williams and Robin Givens will make their small-screen directorial debuts with two of these films.
These five films come from Rule’s books “Danger in the Dorm,” “Mortan Danger,” “Practice to Deceive,” “Bitter Harvest” and “Empty Promises” and are being prepped for a summer launch. As part of Lifetime’s Broader Focus Initiative, four out of the five directors of these films are women, and three out of the five films were written by women.
“Bitter Harvest” tells the story of a brilliant doctor and mother who had the epitome of a picture perfect life with three children, an adoring husband and a beautiful house in an opulent neighborhood — but behind the curtain was a rocky marriage that takes a terrible turn and leaves her family in ruin.

From Clerks to Office Space, workplace comedies have become increasingly popular over the years and now here’s another movie to remind you that your job doesn’t suck as much as you think it does.
From first time filmmaker Jennifer Liao comes End of Days Inc., a supernatural spin on the workplace comedy. The ensemble film, written by Christina Ray (Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning), stars Mark O’Brien (Republic of Doyle), Carolyne Maraghi (Picture Day), Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Kim’s Convenience), Janet Porter (The Listener), Anna Ferguson (Heartland), Yulia Petrauskas (Nikita), and Paulino Nunes (The Strain) as Mr. Godfrey. Liao’s film began it’s festival circuit run with it’s World Premiere at the USA Film Festival in Dallas and has since been picked up for North American distribution by Indican Entertainment.
