Author, producer and composer, educated at City College of New York with a Bachelor of Science degree. He wrote and produced plays, including "Uncle Willie", "The Brass Ring", and "The First Million". Joining ASCAP in 1962, his chief musical collaborators were Harry Sukman and Norman Luboff.
