- Jason Everman was born on August 16, 1967 in Ouzinkie, Alaska, USA. He is known for Edge of Honor (1991), Lemmy (2010) and Soundgarden: Louder Than Live (1990).
- Wrote and recorded an album with New York City heavy-rock band, Mindfunk. Walked away from rock to pursue a career in U.S. military Special Operations, serving in both the Ranger Regiment, and Special Forces. Served combat tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq. BA in Philosophy.
- Everman joined Nirvana in 1989, and is credited as being the second guitarist on the Nirvana album Bleach, but did not actually play on any of the songs. The credit was admitted by Kurt Cobain to be as a token of thanks for paying for the recording of the album. He did however play shows from February through July but should not be considered a member of the band.

- Studied Mahayana Buddhism at Tupten Choling monastery in the Khumbu Himalaya in Nepal for several months.
