Arthur Evers

Arthur Evers born in Paducah, Kentucky in 1879, became a well-known
stage performer from the 1890's, smart, handsome dark-haired character
and supporting star in few film roles, first he was under the direction
of Jay Hunt in 'Camille' starring Gertrude Shipman at Champion Film
Company in 1912, later with the Famous Players Film Company, retired
from the screen in 1916 but 19 years later he made one more screen
appearence as a Court Clerk in 'Les Miserables' in 1935 starring
Fredric March and Charles Laughton.
