Phillip Fenty started in the business writing and co-producing the iconic Black street film, Superfly. He was part of the, gritty New York City independent film movement, from the early 70's to the mid 80's. Fenty co-wrote and co-produced Shining Star with Harvey Kietel and Earth Wind and Fire. He also Directed and co-wrote The Baron starring Calvin Lockhart, Raymond St Jacques and Joan Blondell.
Moving west to Los Angeles, Phillip wrote for The Robert Guillaume Show, and developed TV projects for talent ranging from Red Foxx to Herbie Hancock at 20th Century Fox. Returning to LA after six months in East Africa developing a feature film project for Columbia Pictures, Phillip put in a stint at Dick Clark Productions as VP of Development & Marketing.
Presently Phillip Fenty is developing content for, Triple Crown Entertainment LLC.
