Rosa Barney can confidently pose in lingerie, but the curve model says she wasn’t always comfortable in her skin.
“When I was a kid, and even as a teenager, I always felt really out of place,” Barney, 27, tells People. “I was always the tallest kid in the class — taller than the boys. I was never small in any way, whether it was height or being bigger in the middle, and it was definitely something I was very self-conscious of. [Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “Big Little Lies” Episode 1, “Somebody’s Dead.”]
Madeline’s comin’, yo!
Ok, Ok, no one would ever say that on “Big Little Lies” (or probably even get the reference), but in a Baltimore-based version of HBO’s new mystery, can’t you imagine the other Monterrey moms warning one another every time Reese Witherspoon’s power mom came walking into school? Since the very first frames of Episode 1, Madeline dominates her world with an aura some may fear and others may covet.
But does that make her the killer or the killee? We weren’t given many hints toward the murderer or victim’s identity in the first hour of Jean-Marc Vallee’s new limited series, but that doens’t mean we’re lacking in theories. Below, we’ve taken each major character introduced in the premiere and broken down what we know about them, what we don’t, and what it might all mean toward the series’ larger mystery: Whodunnit?...

Terror on TV revisits the most sadistic The Flintstones episode ever. When Hanna-Barbera launched The Flintstones in 1960, it was an animated answer to pioneering television sitcom The Honeymooners, with Alan Reed’s Fred Flintstone and Mel Blanc’s Barney Rubble serving as prehistoric riffs on Jackie Gleason’s Ralph Kramden and Art Carney’s Ed Norton. And because…

Some details about "How I Met Your Mother's" spinoff "How I Met Your Dad" have leaked, and it's safe to say "Himym" fans will recognize their show in the new one.
What they won't see, though, is simply a gender-reversed copy of the original show. A casting breakdown of the lead characters on "How I Met Your Dad" shows a few key differences -- the most notable of which is that main character, i.e. the female Ted, begins the show as a married woman. Per TVLine, which first published the character sketches, here's who we'll meet if the spinoff from "Himym" creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas and "Up All Night's" Emily Spivey goes to series.
Sally: In her 20s but still not very grown-up and a little bit aimless, Sally has been married for a year to Gavin and is realizing they're not meant for each other.

Read on for a list of which guest stars will be back in the final episodes, what those episodes are called and a few choice bits -- including an early contingency plan for the show's ending -- from the press conference. Spoilers abound, obviously.
The guest stars
Per Thomas, the following people are returning to "Himym" in the final episodes. Details filled in where we know them.
Tim Gunn as himself, Barney's (Neil Patrick Harris) wedding-weekend tailor.

It’s always fun when a bunch of testosterone-bound tough guys assemble to make a movie, and “The Expendables 3” promises to be a wild macho ride.

There have been 23 Treehouse of Horror episodes thus far. That’s about a full seasons worth. Imagine that, an entire season of Treehouse of Horror episodes. I’m surprised they haven’t released a special Treehouse of Horror DVD set yet. Cue some Fox executive reading that and thinking “yes!”
The Treehouse of Horror episodes have always been a lot of fun and I look forward to them every year, even though their focus on horror has unfortunately drifted to other less suitable genre’s. The writer’s get to play around with the show in ways they can’t during the regular season. Characters can die, reveal terrible secrets, or be sent off to the looney bin. It’s a grand ol’ time for the whole family.

Becki Newton's guest arc on "How I Met Your Mother" must have gone pretty well, because she and the show's creators are working together again.
"Himym" creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas have received a pilot order from Fox for a comedy called "The Goodwin Games," and Newton ("Ugly Betty," "Love Bites") will star in it. Per EW, the show revolves around three siblings whose father leaves them a fortune, but only "if they agree to his terms." Fellow "How I Met Your Mother" executive producer Chris Harris is writing it with Bays and Thomas.
Newton has been a sought-after actress for the past couple of pilot seasons. She starred in a family comedy from "That '70s Show" veterans Jackie and Jeff Filgo for CBS last year, but it didn't go to series. She reportedly had several offers this time around as well.

Did Carter Bays and Craig Thomas really drop a Psyche bomb on us last night? Did they guide us all onto the red carpet only to pull it out from beneath us? It's not that I care, at this point, who Ted's future wife will be. Until there's an announcement that "Himym's" run is definitively ending, I don't expect it. But last night's episode, which had its sweet and funny moments -- all thanks to Marshall and Lily -- was both cruel and frustrating. Not only did it tease us with the potential identity of the mother of Ted's parents, it created an entirely new mystery: "How Barney Met His Wife."
But let's back up, and examine the entire season. Per "Himym" tradition, season six was fitful, alternating between great and mediocre episodes, which was at least an improvement over season five, which alternated between mediocre and bad episodes. The...

Ignoring for a moment the not-so-small matter of an unknown bride, the identity of Barney's (Neil Patrick Harris) dad on "How I Met Your Mother" is possibly the biggest unanswered question of the series -- and definitely of Season 6. But on Mar. 21, we'll finally come face-to-face.
Emmy and Tony winner John Lithgow makes his first appearance in "Legendaddy" as the Barney's estranged father, Jerry. And speaking with Zap2it about his two scheduled appearances, Lithgow explains that the serious themes explored this season keep coming with his cameo.
"It is very intense," Lithgow tells us. "If this weren't a comedy, it would be 'East of Eden' or something. He's the lost father. There's a pool of serious emotional stuff underpinning all of the comedy. [Barney] is what he is, in so many ways, because he was abandoned by his father. We make comedy out of that, but...

In a chronologically frenetic outing, even by "How I Met Your Mother" standards, "The Mermaid Theory" looks into the not-so-distant future where Lily (Alyson Hannigan) will be toting a full baby belly and Ted (Josh Radnor) triumphantly dons a dress. Per usual, "more on that later."
In the present, there's finally some exposition on "The Captain," Zoey's (Jennifer Morrison) inattentive, maritime-obsessed husband, played to schizophrenic perfection by Kyle McLaughlin.
Zoey has officially wormed her way into the gang as of Blitzgiving, and though romance still seems far from both of their minds, she and Ted sort of accidentally find themselves on a date. Naturally, The Captain invites him on a boozy boat ride for two, which Ted assumes is a one-way trip... to his doom.
Other lessons learned:

After a Ted-heavy plot did a decent job opening the season, How I Met Your Mother went to their closer to make sure there was no second episode slump this week.
On "Cleaning House," Barney got the party started with his Bronx Zoo story of monkey business and then Robin asks if anyone watched The Deadliest Catch last night. Lily covers her ears and yells, “spoiler alert!” A slave to my DVR, I am always doing the same thing until I can get caught up on recent shows.
Ted lost me on the whole underselling of his Karate Kid analogy. No fan of the 1984 hit, let alone someone who claims it is one of the best movies ever, would refer to John Kreese as merely “the Cobra Kai Sensei.” Great idea, poor execution Ted.
