A new episode of NCIS: Hawai’i has a surprise for viewers and boss Jane Tennant (played by Vanessa Lachey).
Supervisor Agent John Swift of the Office of Special Projects (played by Henry Ian Cusick) is back.
His title is a mouthful, but his job seems to encompass more than previously revealed.
Swift first appeared in the final two episodes of NCIS: Hawai’i Season 2 (Past Due and Dies Irae).
While he is on the side of bringing down the bad guys, he does it in a way that can ruffle the feathers of people he works with. Add Tennant to that list.
Now Swift is back for NCIS: Hawai’i Season 3, Episode 2, and he has a surprising revelation for Tennant.
Who is Henry Ian Cusick on the NCIS: Hawai’i cast?
Cusick is probably best known for his role as Desmond Hume on Lost. The character was mysterious and brought much intrigue to the hit ABC show.

Henry Ian Cusick has no regrets about leaving Scandal just prior to the ABC political fixer drama became wildly popular.
On Scandal, Cusick played ladies' man Stephen Finch, who served as Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) right-hand man on her team of professional fixers. Kerry Washington is not going to give anything up about Season 2 of "Scandal." In fact, the first sentence of her first answer in an interview with Zap2it is "Well, I obviously can't tell you too much about that."
And that's fine -- the show returns Thursday night (Sept. 27) and sets about answering the "Who is Quinn Perkins?" question it posed at the end of last season, so no need to jump the gun.
Washington is able to talk about her own feelings on finding out the answer, where the season will take her character, Olivia Pope's, relationship with President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) and how Olivia adjusts to her colleague Stephen Finch (Henry Ian Cusick, who has left the show). Here's what she had to say.

With the Scandal Season 2 premiere set for tomorrow night, buzz about the show that left everyone's jaws sufficiently dropped with its season one finale is getting louder and louder.
After watching an advanced screening of the episode, I had the chance to talk with Olivia Pope herself about Cyrus Beene, Quinn Perkins and the show's upcoming arcs. As Kerry Washington teased:
"We've got a lot going on this season."
Things have changed at the offices of Pope & Associates. Both Bellamy Young and Josh Malina have been bumped to series regulars while Henry Ian Cusick's role of Stephen Finch has been written out. With Stephen gone, "the politics within the office itself is getting more complicated. That's a really fun part of this what's going on so far this season," teased the actress.

The freshman season of Shonda Rhimes’ Scandal may have been brief, but it was easily one of the best mid-season starts of 2012. Heartbreak, conspiracy, love triangles, murder and backstabbing were all tied together in one deviously scintillating package.
Now that Season 2 is here, along with a digital screener, I’ve had the pleasure of “sitting on edge” once again. Rhimes has deftly whipped up a new start to this intriguing – outside-the-letter-of-the-law – crisis drama on Capitol Hill.
Without giving away any major spoilers, here are 10 Focus Points to watch out for in the premiere:
- Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) is now a series regular. If you were weary of the First Lady’s motivations in season one, get ready to be dumbfounded in season two. Mrs. Grant harkens back to the days of Sherry Palmer on 24 – minus the nuclear threat.

I had a chance to screen the first three episodes of Scandal, the new drama from Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes. But, it didn’t take me three episodes to realize that Scandal, starring Kerry Washington, would be one of the more intriguing new series of 2012.
It took me five minutes.
Within the first five-minutes of Scandal’s premiere, viewers are re-introduced to the great dialogue that makes Rhimes such a brilliant showrunner. A simple blind date between Harrison Wright (Columbus Short) and Quinn Rielly (Katie Lowes) turns into a job interview that’s not really a job interview at all. The short segment introduces to the kind of series you’re about to watch, where everything is not as it seems.

If you've got a crisis, Olivia Pope and Associates will solve it. Quickly. And quietly.
ABC's newest Shonda Rhimes hit, Scandal, is set in Washington, D.C., an area rife with scandals both fictional and factual, which gives this show enough reality to hook people who love it when strangers' lives are on the verge of unraveling. Chicago – Shonda Rhimes has made waves on network TV with her unique, stylized approach to characters on hit shows “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice.” She occassionally has a gift for pulpy TV and her latest, “Scandal” sometimes hits that nerve that wants an escapist soap opera after a long day at work. More often, it feels over-done, like someone trying to stir controversy with outlandish, unbelievable behavior. It’s a tough show to review. If you approach it with even an ounce of sincerity, you’ll likely laugh it off. But if you approach it knowing that this is a daytime soap opera that just happens to be in primetime and can appreciate the fearless ludicrousness of it all, it just might be your favorite way to turn off your mind.

"Scandal" is a delicious combination of the relationship drama and love troubles we adore in Shonda Rhimes' shows (what's "Grey's Anatomy" without some steamy hookups?), set in the fast-paced world of high-level crisis management and is ripe with plenty of political intrigue.
Rhimes might be best known for her TV medical dramas ("Grey's" and "Private Practice"), but "Scandal" proves that she can shake up her proven format and still find success. Kerry Washington stars as Olivia Pope, a high-powered D.C.-based "fixer" who has resolved some of the country's biggest scandals. She was the President's communications director and go-to gal, and is now running her own outfit that caters to the who's who of Washington, D.C., and beyond.
We've got an exclusive sneak peek at the show's premiere episode (Thurs., Apr. 5, 10 p.m. Et on ABC) that shows Olivia Pope in action. The biggest takeaway: You don't...

ABC has been hot to capitalize on it’s Grey’s Anatomy market (as that show gets increasingly long in the tooth) for quite some time, and when other options aren’t surfacing, or working out, there’s no reason not to try out another effort by Grey’s and Private Practice creator/writer Shonda Rhimes. Last year’s Off the Map didn’t stick, but she wasn’t writing that one.
Of course, nothing could make more sense. If you’re looking for a show that people who watch Grey’s Anatomy will watch, why look anywhere else? And, generally speaking, if you’re looking for someone to create and write a TV show, why would you not look to the writer of Crossroads and The Princes Diaries 2: Royal Engagement? Some things in the business are just no-brainers.

ABC has a slew of new shows coming, many of which need a lot of luck if they're going to last more than a handful of episodes. The schedule has been released, so let's take a lot at what's coming.
Oddly enough, as part of the new announcement, ABC has solidified the return of several more shows, including Happy Endings, despite the fact that two other networks have shows on their slate with cast members from the show. That should be interesting. Of course, it works for me, because I'm a fan.
In other news, Desperate Housewives will not die. Are you kidding me with this show still being on?
New Series - “Apartment 23,” “Charlie’s Angels,” “Good Christian Belles,” “Last Man Standing,” “Man Up,” “Missing,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Pan Am,” “Revenge,” “The River,” “Scandal,” “Suburgatory” and “Work It” Join the Lineup

Earlier we shared ABC's primetime lineup, and now we have some clips from the new drama series for you. Be sure to check out the comedy clips here. The clips include, Pan Am, Charlie's Angels, Once Upon A Time, Revenge, The River, and Scandal. At this time we don't have clips for Missing or Good Christian Belles, but we will post once they are available. I am interested in seeing The River and Once Upon A Time. Watch the clips below and share your thoughts!
Pan Am
Passion, jealousy and espionage... They do it all - and they do it at 30,000 feet. The style of the 1960s, the energy and excitement of the Jet Age and a drama full of sexy entanglements deliciously mesh in this thrilling and highly-original new series. In this modern world, air travel represents the height of luxury and Pan Am is the biggest name in the business.

Scandal, a new series from Shonda Rhimes, is coming to ABC midseason (early 2012). It revolves around the life and work of a crisis manager and her staff.
Kerry Washington stars as Olivia Pope, a former PR consultant to the President who can't seem to cut ties with her past - professionally and personally.
Pope's dysfunctional team - who specialize in fixing people's lives, but can't quite rectify their own - include Lost's Henry Ian Cusick as Stephen Finch, Columbus Short as Harrison Wright, Guillermo Diaz as Huck, Darby Stanchfield as Abby and Katie Lowes as Quinn.
Ghost's Tony Goldwyn takes on the role of President Fitzgerald Grant.
Check it out the preview after the jump and see what you think of this new series from the Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice creator. Think it's worth a look?

NBC and Fox have both unleashed their Fall 2011-2012 TV schedule, now ABC has released theirs. I’m excited to see Castle, Modern Family, and The Middle back in the mix. Most of the new shows they have line-up don’t really interest me, but there are a few that have caught my eye. PanAm is another 1960’s based TV show that will go against AMC’s Mad Men and NBC’s The Playboy Club. There’s a show called Revenge that sounds really interesting, but the new series I’m most excited about is is the fantasy series Once Upon A Time, a show where fairy tales collide with the modern day.
Here is ABC’s full schedule along with a description of all of their shows. Go through them below and let us know what TV series you’re most excited about seeing.

Hey, if your baby is ever kidnapped, Kerry Washington & Co. are your people. You would just have to name your next child after her.
On Tuesday, May 17, ABC announced Shonda Rhimes' "Scandal" would be debuting midseason along with "Apartment 23," "Good Christian Belles," "Missing," "The River" and "Work It."
"Scandal" revolves around the life and work of a professional crisis manager and her dysfunctional staff. Kerry Washington leads the "gladiators in suits" as Olivia Pope, a former media relations consultant to the President. Though she's opened up her own firm, she can't seem to cut ties with her past -- professionally and personally.
Pope's dysfunction team -- who specialize in fixing people's lives, but can't quite fix their own -- include "Lost's" Henry Ian Cusick (Good to see ya, brutha!) as Stephen Finch, Columbus Short as Harrison Wright, Guillermo Diaz as Huck, Darby Stanchfield as Abby and Katie Lowes as Quinn.

ABC hopes 13 is its lucky number. The network has picked up a baker’s dozen new shows to populate its fall and midseason schedule, which includes opening a new comedy block.
Mondays will stay the same with Dancing With the Stars and Castle. Tuesdays will open with a comedy hour that includes Tim Allen’s new sitcom, Last Man Standing, paired with another new comedy, Man Up. Wednesdays adds new comedy Suburgatory, plus soap thriller, Revenge, at 10 p.m., with Cougar Town shifting to midseason and Happy Endings getting the Modern Family lead-in. Charlie’s Angels will go into Thursdays at 8 p.
