Jeff Katz and John Fox have joined 20th Century Fox as vps production.
They will report to Fox co-presidents Emma Watts and Alex Young.
Fox joins the studio from DreamWorks, where he was vp development. He joined DreamWorks as a creative executive in 2002 and was promoted to vp in 2004. During his tenure, he oversaw Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Norbit and the upcoming Transformers.
At the studio, Fox will focus on the development and production of comedic projects.
"John has an expertise with the development and production of big, all-audience films, and his experience is perfectly in line with the movies that we make here," Watts said.
Katz joins 20th Century Fox from New Line Cinema, where he most recently was vp development and production. He joined New Line in 1999 as an intern, followed by a succession of promotions that resulted in expanded responsibilities in the development and production areas. Katz oversaw the development and production of Snakes on a Plane.
