The anticipated return of Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is leaving her fellow “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” castmembers “shook” in the new trailer for Season 7.
The MTV reality series previewed Giancola’s comeback to Jerzdays after 11 years with a new clip featuring plenty of shenanigans that the crew will embark on in the new episodes, premiering Thursday, Aug. 3. The trailer also teased a reunion for Giancola and her former beau, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who himself left the reboot in 2021.
“I can’t even believe it. Gym. Tan. Sam’s back!” co-star Mike “The Situation Sorrentino” said in the trailer. “It can’t get any better than this,” Giancola added in another snippet.

MTV has set the third spinoff from Jersey Shore. The cable network has tapped Vinny Guadagnino to host The Show With Vinny, a talk show centered on the sensitive member of its reality franchise, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The series will feature Guadagnino breaking bread with celebrities at his Staten Island home -- complete with his mother Paula and Uncle Nino, among others -- as he blends conversation with his colorful kin. Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino is getting his own MTV talk show.
Considered the most sensitive of the Shore boys, Vinny will star in a hybrid talk/reality series for the network titled The Show with Vinny.
The project will tweak the usual talk format by taking celebrities out of the studio and having Vinny interview them in his Staten Island home with his colorful Italian family. The "Jersey Shore" gang is coming back! MTV's breakout series will return for a second season this summer with 12 new episodes, it was announced on Saturday (January 30) by MTV President of Programming Tony Disanto. Following the success of season one, Pauly D, Mike, Snooki, Jenni, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny will escape the cold Northeast and find themselves in a new destination.
"Our audience has fallen in love with 'Jersey Shore' and its amazing cast, who have really grown together as a family," Disanto said. "That bond gives the show its heart, and we're thrilled to reunite these friends to bring fans more of what they love — laughs, love, drama and, of course, Gtl."
"Jersey Shore" is January's #1 original cable series among 12-34 year-olds.

MTV and Bunim-Murray Prods. are reuniting a "Real World" cast to document what happens when they live together again in their former home.
The cable network and producers Bunim-Murray Prods. said Tuesday that they're going into production this month on their first-ever reunion series for the "Real World" franchise.
"Reunited: The Real World" will reunite the original cast of "The Real World: Las Vegas" in their former home -- the "Real World" suite at the Palms Casino Resort -- to see what has happened in the five years since the seven cast members lived together and to document what happens when they reunite.
The show is set to premiere on MTV later this spring. "Real World" was created by Jon Murray and Mary Ellis-Bunim. Jim Johnston also is executive producer, and Ken Chien is the supervising producer of "Reunited". Drew Tappon and Jacquelyn French are executives in charge of production for MTV.
