Actress Emilia Fox often roams the streets at night in her pyjamas - to calm her crying baby.
The Pianist star gave birth to her first child, Rose, in November, 2010 and like all new mums she's developed her own unique way of dealing with her tot's sobbing fits.
She tells You magazine, "I love dressing up, but then I have spent a lot of the past year living in my pyjamas. I've even been known to walk the streets in them. You know those moments when your baby just won't settle? Well, I throw a coat over my pyjamas, put Rose in the baby carrier and we go for a walk. Is that really awful? My neighbours are very nice. I honestly don't think they would mind."
Fox split from Rose's father, Jeremy Gilley, last year.

British actress Emilia Fox insists she isn't bitter about her split from Jeremy Gilley, as her love for their daughter stops her feeling sad.
The Pianist star announced in January she had broken up from the peace activist after three years together.
The former couple has a daughter Rose, who was born in November 2010, and Fox is adamant motherhood is more important to her than a successful relationship.
She tells You magazine, "It happened several months ago. I am a single mother - that is the reality. But our priority is our love for Rose and her wellbeing. I want her to have the best in life that we can provide, and I am sure her dad does as well. So there is no sadness. How can I be sad when I have Rose? She has changed my life."...

After three years of meeting with heads of state, NGOs, and proponents of peace, Jeremy Gilley achieved what he thought might never happen: In 2001, the first ever Ceasefire Nonviolence Day on the fixed date of 21 September was unanimously adopted in the United Nations general assembly.
However, on 11 September, when Gilley was to announce the date at a press conference, New York’s Twin Towers came down and “the world was never told there was a day of global ceasefire and nonviolence,” says Gilley.
Gilley thought he could bring much-needed attention to the Day of Peace by showing the film he had been using to sell the idea to the Un, but viewers were unconvinced. Most saw it as a nice idea, but only symbolic. Frustrated, Gilley decided to make a new film and find partners. Eventually, Unicef came on board. Jude Law can't speak about phone hacking. I'm told this by his publicist before the interview. "I just can't because I'm in legal proceedings and it's in various stages with various people, and part of that is classified, and they've promised to keep it quiet if I keep it quiet, so I've got to be really careful. But believe me, there's an awful lot I want to say, though. An awful lot."

New mother Emilia Fox is feeling broody after hearing Victoria Beckham's baby news, insisting she wants to give birth "again and again".
The Pianist star and her actor boyfriend Jeremy Gilley welcomed baby Rose in November and Fox is enjoying doting on the tot.
Speaking about her motherhood experiences during an appearance on U.K. talk show Loose Women on Monday, Fox says, "Eight weeks in, it's very exciting. It's a crash course isn't it, finding out about babies. Little sleep. This is one of the few times I've been out of pyjamas in eight weeks."
The actress also admits hearing that Beckham is expecting her fourth child has made her long for more kids.
She adds, "I wouldn't mind (another three kids). I was listening to you talking about the Beckhams. Having done it once I want to do it again and again and again.
"I had such a great time in labour. It was quite an extraordinary experience... it was very painful at the time, I didn't enjoy it then, but as soon as the baby was out my parents came and brought sandwiches and stayed... it was like a party."
Singer-turned-fashion designer Beckham and her soccer ace husband David announced on Sunday they are expecting their fourth baby; a sibling for sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Emilia Fox thinks her miscarriage was meant to be. The 36-year-old actress, whose marriage to actor Jared Harris broke down after she suffered a miscarriage in 2007, is currently expecting her first child with peace campaigner partner Jeremy Gilley and said she is trying to be positive about the trauma of her previous pregnancy.
"As horrendous as losing my baby was, maybe it was meant to happen to make way for this little one to come along," she said. "I don't know if that's true, but it's like I've finally been able to convert that awful experience into a positive thing."
The screen beauty, who is believed to be is expecting a girl, is relishing being pregnant and claims the baby already reacts to her father's voice. She told She magazine, "I'm really enjoying being pregnant. I especially love the evenings, when Jeremy comes home from work and immediately I feel...

Actor visits east London academy to congratulate and encourage children who made short film on peace theme
Pupils were treated to much more than the usual assembly when actor Jude Law today arrived at a secondary school in the capital to launch a new film competition for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
Law arrived at the Petchey Academy in Dalston with documentary-maker Jeremy Gilley, the founder of the Peace One Day campaign, which argues that 21 September should be an international day of ceasefire and non-violence.
Together, they are encouraging young people to make a short film inspired by the theme of "Truce".
First to make a Truce film were pupils from the school, hence this visit. Law, last seen as Watson in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, said it was "a call to action for young people to change the world through creativity and the power of film.

British actor Jude Law and filmmaker Jeremy Gilley have been praised by Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai for promoting peace in the war-torn country.
The pair has been in Afghanistan to urge feuding parties to call a one-day ceasefire - to coincide with the United Nations' global Peace Day on 21 September.
That event was prompted by Gilley's Peace One Day project, for which Law is an ambassador.
And their efforts have been applauded by Karzai, after he met Law and Gilley at his palace in Kabul on Tuesday.
A statement released by the President's office reads: "Karzai praised their efforts and said, 'Afghanistan, too, hopes and makes lots of efforts for the establishment of peace in Afghanistan, the region and the world'."
Afghanistan has been rocked by gunfight and bombings by militant fighters since the Taliban was removed from power with the help of the U.S. and U.K. armed forces in 2001, in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Actor Jude Law is calling for a ceasefire in war-torn Afghanistan - and wants the feuding parties to acknowledge a day of peace later this month.
The Alfie star, an ambassador for British filmmaker Jeremy Gilley's Peace One Day project, is in the Middle Eastern country to promote the United Nations' global Peace Day on 21 September.
The non-violent 24-hour event was established in 2001 after lobbying from Peace One Day campaigners proved successful.
Afghanistan observed the 2007 Peace Day, and the break in fighting allowed health workers to enter the Taliban-influenced regions of the country and vaccinate 1.4 million children against polio in areas previously ruled off-limits.
Speaking at a press conference in Kabul on Monday, Law said: "What we hope to do... is to remind all parties that it is happening and see then what happens through negotiations."
The British actor went on to describe the world as being in a "disastrous state", and wanted to use the Peace One Day project to urge all sides, "whether they are fighting for change (or) killing for change", to "pause".
He added: "And if that pause is simply to allow, as we did in last year's call for action here, vaccinating children or bringing in food... then let's use that."
Law joined Gilley in Afghanistan last year, when they made a documentary about the brief ceasefire, titled The Day After Peace.
Gilley told the press: "We are appalled at the situation in Afghanistan and beyond. Nobody wants people to suffer in the way that they are. That is precisely why we came back."

British actor Jude Law is planning a trip to war-torn Afghanistan to premiere a film about world peace.
The Alfie star paid a secret visit to the Middle Eastern state last year, where he met officials and filmed discussions about the United Nation's (Un) annual Peace Day.
The Un voted unanimously to adopt Peace Day in 2001 after a campaign by Law's friend, British movie-maker Jeremy Gilley.
The resulting film formed part of documentary The Day After Peace, which received its world premiere at the Cannes International Film Festival on Monday.
Law enjoyed the anonymity he found in the country and is determined to return there to screen the film for the Afghan people.
He says, "They had no idea who I was. I was really there as a B cameraman.
"Organisations can drown under the weight of too many faces. But I will return to Afghanistan to show the film there."...

SYDNEY -- Proving its mettle against its long-established Melbourne and Sydney counterparts, the nascent Adelaide Film Festival has recorded an explosion in audience attendance, registering 33,000 visitors over 13 days -- a 96% increase from the inaugural event in 2003. "With a film festival on every corner we are very pleased that in such a short time we have been able to program Adelaide's differently and receive such a positive response in the press, from the film industry and the public alike," Adelaide Film Festival director Katrina Sedgwick said in a statement. Adelaide audiences awarded Sarah Watt's live action/animation feature debut Look Both Ways best feature film. Peace One Day, about filmmaker Jeremy Gilley's attempts to get the global community to sanction one day without conflict, took best documentary film in audience polls. The AFF opened Feb. 18 with Look Both Ways and closed March 3 with the Australian premiere of Wong Kar Wai's 2046. The festival showcased over 100 Australian premieres and 19 world premieres.
