- Chosen as St. Tammany Parish President's Arts Award, 2015 Performing Artist of the Year.
- 1977- Won the Brown County, Ohio Spelling Bee.
- Also in 1998, was a contestant on the VH-1 Gameshow Rock n Roll Jeopardy. Won the top prize with the answer (the band) The Presidents of the United States of America.
- Has been in two cover bands. From 1983-1987 played keyboards, bass and sang with The Qubes in Louisiana. Then in 2008, formed his own cover band, The Generics, and played on the world-famous Sunset Strip.
- Played keyboards and sang with the band The Qubes atop the Wonder Wall at the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans.
- Played guitar and sang on the Santa Monica 3rd Street Promenade.
- Has made a living solely from the world of acting since 2001.
- Elected President of the New Orleans SAG-AFTRA Local, serving Louisiana and Mississippi, from 2021-2025.
