Valerie has always been in the arts and entertainment.
Born and raised in Chicago, she went full circle studying the fine arts of drawing, painting, sculpture, design and photography, to the performing arts as an actress, singer, dancer, model, which then evolved into her love of film making.
She has worked on camera and off, with such talents as Andrew Davis, Jane Fonda, Kate Capshaw and Chuck Norris. She uses her endless energy, open mind, imagination and creativity to acquire and develop IP's of all genres, while using her experience and sales ability to shop, promote and produce. Among so many great accomplishments, she was Marketing Director for Universal Studios, and Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios.
Valerie was one of the Producers on the Russian box office hit Brat II, starring the late Sergei Bodrov Jr. And she Co-Produced the feature film Brides, introducing the project to Martin Scorsese to executive produce, directed by Pantelis Voulgaris.
She currently acquired the rights to many exciting IP's, (books, screenplays and life stories), such as ' The Million Dollar Mermaid ' written by Victor Bardack & Edward Michael Bell based on Esther Williams' autobiography, Marilyn Chamber's life story, ' My Last Skirt ' screenplay by Stephanie Sanditz, ' The O'Hares ' written by Eric Pratt, ' Who Killed the Candy Lady? ' the disappearance of the Candy Heiress Helen Brach written by James Ylisela Jr. , ' Hot Blood ' and ' A Family Business ' written by Ken Englade, ' Murder Gone Cold ' by Tamara Shaffer, ' Born to Raise Hell ' the story of Richard Speck, ' A Tap on the Shoulder ', and many others that she passionately would love to see on the big and/or small screens.
While heading up Gobos Film & Entertainment, Valerie collaborates with other producers, writers, and creatives in television, film, and advertising worldwide.
