- Rudi Godden was born on April 18, 1907 in Berlin, Germany. He was an actor, known for The Stars Shine (1938), Polterabend (1940) and Die kleine und die große Liebe (1938). He was married to Gerty Godden. He died on January 4, 1941 in Berlin, Germany.

- Popular German actor, cabaret performer and operatic singer of the 1930's. Signed by Tobis in 1935 and popular as youthful leads in musical films and romantic melodramas, until his early death from blood poisoning in January 1941.
- He founded together with three others the topical-satirical singing quartet "Blue Boys" at the end of the 20's and went on tour. It followed cabaret and opera performances in Berlin.
- His much promising career ended abruptly in January 1941 as he died at the age of 33 of the aftereffects of a blood poisoning.
- When he found out his interested at the opera he took singing lessons to make a future career as an opera singer.
- He worked also as an extra at the German Schauspielhaus.
