In Cut,Print a group of ambitious filmmakers set out to create the world’s first reality horror movie. Their plan is simple: they’d offer an active serial killer complete anonymity and a worldwide platform from which to display his work in exchange for genuine footage of his grisly crimes. What ensues is a hellish game of cat and mouse as a cryptic filmmaker, known only as The Maestro, comes out from hiding in search of his “perfect shot”.
Starring Vince Orlando, Randy Godwin, Ken Foree, and James Ohngren, the film is directed by Nathan Nose and produced by actor Jordan Yale. The film is presented by Horror Icon Tim Sullivan, of Field Of Screams fame, who discovered the filmmakers and aided in the post-production process to bring the film to the screen:

We’ve been sitting on our hands with this one for a few weeks (we actually were on set so stay tuned for that report soon), but given the buzz currently surrounding filmmaker Tim Sullivan’s latest splat-stick effort "I Was A Teenage Werebear" (his recently wrapped segment of the anthology film Chillerama; see our exclusive on that here), we thought it time to mention his involvement with the decidedly different-in-tone Orlando Entertainment feature, the grisly shock "doc" Cut/Print.
Long known for the outrageous horror-comedy films 2001 Maniacs and 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams (as well as his hosting duties on the VH1 "Scream Queens 2" reality series), Sullivan has shifted gears in his collaboration with lead filmmaker Vince Orlando, producer Jeff Burton and director Nathaniel Nose. His now-wrapped feature Cut/Print, a grisly slasher film that brings you inside the mind of a serial killer, is devoid of the typical...

At first glance it seemed like a fairly standard teaser for a potentially funny movie. Except it.s more than that. Something truly bizarre lurks beneath the surface. Whether by design as the result of an utterly unbelievable coincidence, the trailer appears to be mocking the real life suicide of one of the film.s actors. His name was Randall Godwin, a well known Michigan resident and character actor who landed a small part when in late 2008, Youth in Revolt shot on location in Ann Arbor. It was several week later, in December, that Randy would take his own life. Randy was apparently well known locally and well liked. His suicide hit people hard in Ann Arbor and it.s probably something they.d...
