Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and Lark Voorhies proved the old adage to be true with her Sunday night (November 29) social media posts.

I am single! Jimmy couldn't fork up a dime for our divorce. I gave him money multiple times and put minutes on his Obama phone.”
Furthermore, Lark commented on Green’s supposed claims of gang involvement- “Gang Member? You lost your job at Taco. Your penis is Nothing to brag about! Is it normal for a penis to smell like corn chips?” Voohries also mentioned, “I am a fantastic author (3 Books on Amazon) and I am now working on a short film that I wrote & directed and putting...

Lark Voorhies has filed for divorce from her husband of six months, Us Weekly reported on Thursday. The former Saved by the Bell star tied the knot with music engineer Jimmy Green in a quick Las Vegas ceremony back in April after the two met on Facebook. Of their marriage, Jimmy told TMZ that it may have been doomed from the start, calling it "a nightmare from the beginning" and revealing that Lark's mother, Patricia, was "a big part" of their issues. He also added that the only reason Lark filed for divorce first was because he "didn't know how to do it." Three months after they got married, Lark's mother filed a restraining order against Jimmy for sleeping at her home and allegedly being "verbally abusive" toward her. In the court papers, Patricia claimed her daughter lived with her because she was "psychologically, mentally, and emotionally fragile." Lark defended...

The Grand Illusion It's interesting to see the film with spine #1 over at the Criterion Collection coming to Blu-ray for the first time from another company as Studio Canal has brought over their previously released European version of the excellent La Grande Illusion to Blu-ray here in the States. I have not yet had a chance to watch this release but word is that it looks great and the supplemental material looks strong. I previously owned this title only in my [amazon asin="B000I5YUE4" text="The Essential Art House - 50 Years of Janus Films"] collection, but I love how Studio Canal and Lionsgate have teamed to continue to bring some classic foreign titles home to the U.S. Although, compared to the number of titles they've released overseas, they still have a lot of catching up to do.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water... Who needs water when a prehistoric species of sand-swimming sharks begins prowling the beach? Sand Sharks is poised to be the schlockbuster of the summer.
Corin Nemec (Mansquito) and Brooke Hogan (2-Headed Shark Attack) star in Mark Atkins’ horror comedy Sand Sharks, a movie that has “Syfy original movie” written all over it yet looks to be bypassing that channel altogether. Not sure why. Might have something to do with the movie being more comedy than horror; Syfy movie execs, by all accounts, have a weird thing about how their movies should never be intentionally funny.
Synopsis:
Jimmy Green, a prodigal party boy, is throwing the spring break festival of a lifetime on the island of White Sands. Little do the hundreds of teenage party-goers know, an underwater earthquake has cracked open a crater beneath the ocean’s surface.
