Uh-oh, is there a Chicago Fire divorce in the future?! Unfortunately, it’s not something we can rule out completely. While Cruz (Joe Minoso) has thrived at work, including filling in as leader of Squad while Severide (Taylor Kinney) was away earlier this season (despite the conflict that arose upon the other firefighter’s return), his home life is a different story. Chloe (Kristen Gutoskie) wants them to go to couples therapy, but some of their troubles stem from things he can’t change about his work. In the May 15 episode, “Under Pressure,” their problems come to a head. “Cruz and Chloe will come to a big realization in episode 1212 about what’s been eating away at their relationship, and once they put this fine point on it, they’ll have to see if and how they can manage it,” executive producer Andrea Newman tells TV Insider. “They love each other,...

In the Emmys’ Best Drama Supporting Actress category, “The Handmaid’s Tale” bagged two nominations for Ann Dowd (who won) and Samira Wiley for its first season, succeeded by three for Alexis Bledel, Dowd and Yvonne Strahovski for its second. It received 11 nominations for its three orphaned episodes last year, but lead and supporting actors were ineligible. This year, everything is back to normal as the show competes for the entirety of its third season, which aired last summer on Hulu. Seven performers are eligible in drama supporting actress, but how many of them will be blessed with nominations?
Ann Dowd (9th in our odds):
A veteran actress, Dowd finally broke through at the Emmys in 2017 with dual noms for “Handmaid’s” and the final season of HBO’s “The Leftovers” in Best Drama Guest Actress, the latter of which was the show’s sole bid in its three-season run.

This Handmaid's Tale Season 3 review contains no spoilers.
In season 3, The Handmaid’s Tale takes on a topic many of us wish we could crack: how to get women in power to work in solidarity with those with less, to take on men who oppress them all. There are cracks in Gilead’s armor and it’s in trouble when the women work together. But things fall apart disastrously as soon as that solidarity buckles in favor of individual interests. Christopher Meloni’s High Commander Winslow is an intriguing new character we haven’t seen much of yet and Bradley Whitford returns to shed more light on his murky Commander Lawrence, but more importantly, Kristen Gutoskie’s Beth is back, making the most of her larger role as Lawrence’s Martha.

"There is music in everything!! I help you to bring forth what is inside..." Freestyle Digital Media has released the first official trailer for an indie drama titled The Maestro, a biopic about the infamous master teacher Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. The film focuses on a young composer named Jerry Herst, played by Leo Marks, who moves to Hollywood after WWII to study with Castelnuovo-Tedesco - striking up a friendship with him. The cast includes Sarah Clarke, Mackenzie Astin, William Russ, Alex Essoe, Kristen Gutoskie, Jonathan Cherry, and Jon Polito. This seems like another one of these fuzzy, old-Hollywood romantic biopics about a long lost era. And it looks alright, maybe a bit dry but still worth a look. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Adam Cushman's The Maestro, direct from YouTube: Adam Cushman's The Maestro follows budding film composer Jerry Herst (Leo Marks) as he moves to Hollywood after...

Join our newsletter to get more stories like this The fall finale left the Chicago Fire cast in a huge cliffhanger. Most of the episode focused on Chloe (played by Kristen Gutoskie), who was in a huge car accident. Cruz (Joe Minoso) and Station 51 raced her to the hospital and hoped for the best. While Chloe awoke from her accident, and Cruz got to meet her parents, that’s not where the episode came to a close. Instead, Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Naomi (Kate Villanova), are shown in bed following a date. Casey opened the bedroom door, only to be confronted by […]

The Chicago Fire cast almost lost three members during the latest episode. Chloe, played by Kristen Gutoskie and the girlfriend of Cruz, was in a bad car accident that served as one of the main plotlines. At the beginning of the new episode, Chloe was driving and she called into the station for a pastry order. As everyone at the station was telling her what they wanted, she noted that someone was driving erratically on the highway. The phone went dead and after a few brief and dramatic moments of silence, the tones went off at the station and an announcement […]

Warning: The following contains spoilers for Wednesday’s Chicago Fire.
Chicago Fire‘s fall finale turned up the heat — in more ways than one. For starters, Casey and Naomi got it on, but afterward, the firefighter opened his bedroom door to reveal a giant blaze in his home!
While Casey’s relationship with Naomi was seemingly progressing — more on that shortly — Severide and Stella’s was falling apart. Stella saw past her boyfriend’s so-called jealousy of Tyler and urged him to come out with whatever was really bothering him. But when he remained silent, she instead met up with Tyler.

We finally learned the back story for The Vampire Diaries' huge new villain, sexy siren Sybil (Nathalie Kelley)—and it turns out that not only is she not working alone, she's actually the Lesser of two evils. But unfortunately, Stefan (Paul Wesley) has had his memory of the revelation wiped out—so the audience knows what incredible danger everyone's in, but no one else does. Gutoskie tells E! Members of The Vampire Diaries cast foreshadowed a darker final season, and The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 1 has definitely begun to deliver on that promise.

Heads up, vampire enthusiasts: The following article requires you to do a little bit of math. (I know, I’m sorry.)
VideosThe Originals‘ Phoebe Tonkin Ponders Hayley’s Season 4 Journey, Guesses Hope’s First Word
While fans of The Originals are justifiably disappointed that they’ll have to wait until early 2017 for their fix of Mikaelson madness, The CW’s decision to delay Season 4 actually worked in the show’s favor — at least as far as its timeline is concerned.

We only have One Episode Left of Containment, y'all, and before I get into the meet of tonight's review of Containment Season 1 Episode 12 I have to say it's been a lovely, lovely ride.
We all came into this knowing it would be a limited series event but prepared to enjoy it anyway, and I'm going to be really, really bummed when it's over next week.
And not just because I won't get a weekly dose of Chris Wood.
You guys have truly been fantastic, jumping into the comments week after week, sharing your theories and sadness and excitement with me, and it's been awesome. So as much as I'm going to miss the series, I'm going to miss reading Your commentary.
Our beloved Katie, Kristen Gutoskie, is coming to The Vampire Diaries Season 8, so we won't be without her forever. If Julie Plec somehow managed to resurrect Kai and give us back our beloved Kake,...

The Show | Pretty Little Liars
The Episode | “The Talented Mr. Rollins” (July 5)
The Performance | Breaking up may be hard to do, but when Bellisario is at the wheel, at least it’s easy to watch.
Spencer has always been the most theatrical of the Pretty Little Liars — need we remind you of her over-the-top Queen Elizabeth Halloween costume a few years back? — and Bellisario has routinely crushed her character’s meatier moments, be it a psychological breakdown or a debilitating drug relapse.
But it was her powerful performance in this week’s episode, that of a...

Containment may have been one and done for The CW, but two of the stars have obviously made an impression on Julie Plec.
First up, Kristen Gutoskie has booked a recurring gig on The Vampire Diaries Season 8.
Gutoskie will play Seline, who is described as a warm, nurturing nanny of two kids by day, and a small-town girl trying to find her place in a dangerous world by night.
Seline apparently feels "bonded" to her new family in ways that she could never have imagined and will go out her way to ensure their safety.
It sounds very ominous, right?
The two young kids part certainly makes us think that she could be the nanny to Caroline and Alaric's daughters.
It does sound a little obvious, but the show has been pretty predictable for the better part of the last three years.
Alaric's character was butchered by god awful writing...

StyleHaul has posted a status update about its next original series. The fashion, beauty, and lifestyle-oriented network has shared the trailer for Relationship Status, which will arrive on Verizon’s Go90 app on April 29th.
Relationship Status will follow the romantic lives of its ensemble cast and will examine the ways in which social media affects modern relationships. The show’s ten episodes will follow its characters for a year, with platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat coming into play along the way.
As it did with previous original programs like Vanity, StyleHaul is using Relationship Status to appeal to the social media-hungry viewers who watch videos on the network’s partner channels. YouTube stars like Sam Tsui and Alexa Losey will have roles in the show, and its themes will resonate with a connected audience. “I think there’s something relatable to a lot of different ages,” cast member Milo Ventimiglia told Tubefilter.

Currently, there are several TV shows that revolve around viral outbreaks -- The Last Ship, The Strain, and Z Nation. The folks at The CW are hoping there's room for one more with their Containment series. How will this one perform in the ratings? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On Containment, a mysterious and lethal epidemic breaks out in Atlanta and a wide reaching urban quarantine is quickly enforced. This forces those who are stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while, local and federal officials desperately search for a cure. The cast includes David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Kristen Gutoskie, Claudia Black, George Young, Hanna Mangan Lawrence, and Trevor St. John.

To clarify, this article and the ones similar to it are not reviews of this fall/midseason’s pilots (because pilots can change a lot between now and when they broadcast). These are just my first impressions of the not-for-air network pilots that I have been able to screen. I last wrote about ABC’s Quantico. Next up: The CW’s Containment, which premieres at midseason. The Premise: An epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, leaving the large city quarantined and those stuck on the inside fighting for their lives. The Cast: David Gyasi (Interstellar) as Lex, Chris Wood (The Vampire Diaries) as Jake Riley, Christina Marie Moses (Twisted) as Jana, Kristen Gutoskie (Beaver Falls) as Katie Frank, Claudia Black (The Originals) as Dr. Sabine Lommers, and Hanna Mangan Lawrence (Spartacus) as Teresa First Impression: Julie Plec is quickly becoming the Shonda Rhimes of The CW, and that’s not a bad thing.

From comic-book adaptations to sci-fi, fantasy and horror. Here are the new geek-skewed shows coming to Us TV in 2016...
The world of TV has never been so crowded and, at the same time, geeks have never had it so good. As saturated as the big screen is with superhero films and sprawling shared universes, that mentality has well and truly bled onto the small screen too.
So there’s a lot of comic-book adaptations coming up in 2016 from Marvel, DC and others, but genre TV is represented across the board with science-fiction, fantasy and horror represented at pretty much every network and cable channel in the Us.
Here's some of the geek TV that will be making its way to us from the Us next year.
