Back to the graft again is right. Just as they teased on the aptly-titled single “Showtime” in February, Catfish and the Bottlemen will return on the road this fall for their first North American headlining tour since 2019. The highly anticipated announcement comes on the heels of U.K. headlining dates, which were released in tandem with the single. In a recent post about Toyo Harada I talked about the order of Valiant character appearances in the original Valiant universe from the early 1990s. I thought about it some and decided to piece together three reviews I did of first three original (post-Magnus and Solar) Valiant properties in their initial arcs as titles. Please note that these are several years old so some of the references might not be up to date and I’m not a good writer now, so you can imagine how I was then. These cover the two hardcovers that the current Valiant owner released of the classic material, Harbinger: The Beginning and X-o Manowar: Birth, along with the classic first Tpb of Rai from the ’90s.
The first page of Harbinger #1 is a splash page, the backdrop is mundane: a traffic jam, trees, a helicopter hovering above, this is the real world, the...

Over the years, Marvel has done a ton of crossover comics, one of the most recent was The Avengers and Attack on Titan. It was short, but it was really freakin' cool. Affter doing a little research I came across six Marvel crossover comics that were ridiculous. The comic book publisher sure has some doozies over the years. Most of them offer some good, fun entertainment, while others simply sucked. Check out the list below:
Eminem/Punisher - Kill You
In 2009, Frank Castle and Marshall Mathers team up after the Punisher kills a bunch of Eminem’s bodyguards over a misunderstanding. After a concert, Punisher stops the limo from leaving so Slim-Shady and his entourage get out angrily to make him get out of the way. So what does Punisher do? He just automatically opens fire, killing many of them. After Eminem pistol whips Punisher, and an assassin named Barracuda...

Continuing our series of profiles of the characters who will star in the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy" feature film, this week we’re going to examine one of Marvel’s most enduring cosmic heroes, the relentless engine of destruction known as Drax The Destroyer.
Drax was created by writer/artist Jim Starlin in 1973’s Iron Man #55, the same issue that would introduce the death-worshipping villain Thanos, whose bid for godhood continued in the pages of Starlin’s epic run on Captain Marvel.
As revealed in Captain Marvel #31, Drax had once been been real estate agent Arthur Douglas, who while travelling with his family down a deserted Nevada highway had the misfortune of encountering one of Thanos’ scouting ships. Determined not to have his presence on Earth revealed until he was ready to unfold his plan, Thanos fired on the Douglas’ family car, killing Douglas and his wife, although their daughter escaped the wreckage,...

Once again, a look into the future, with some very interesting looks at the past, including the reprinting of a comic that was never released in America in the first place, the infamous Elseworlds 80 Page Giant that was pulped because of concerns about Superman’s babysitter.
And of course, a whole lot of #3 issues, which is traditionally the issue where Spider-Man guest stars.
Shall we? Surely!
As usual, spoilers may lurk beyond this point.
