This Star Wars: Ahsoka article contains spoilers.
Imagine you’re watching an emotional reunion between characters who haven’t seen each other in years. It’s a reunion you’ve been expecting, but nonetheless you still can’t believe it’s happening. However, as you try to connect with the characters and feel what they’re feeling in this moment, you’re distracted by yet another uncanny computer generated face on the body of a real life actor. This is the experience that many people, including myself, had watching episode 4 of Ahsoka and the reunion between Ahsoka and Anakin in the World Between Worlds.
Anticipation for the characters’ reunion has been building since Hayden Christensen’s return was first revealed. The last time that Ahsoka saw her former master was on the Sith planet of Malachor in Star Wars: Rebels, the two locked in a deadly duel. So to see...

This Star Wars: The Mandalorian article contains spoilers.
The Mandalorian season 3 kicks things into high gear with “The Pirate.” Gorian Shard wants to take Nevarro for himself but seriously underestimates Greef Karga’s connections. When Din, Bo-Katan, and the rest of the Mandalorians show up to kick the pirates out of town, all hell breaks loose in the skies above the city as well as on the ground. The Armorer smashes a few faces in with her hammer while Paz lays down the law with his gatling blaster, with air support from Din and Bo. By the end of the episode, Gorian has nowhere to go but down.
Unsurprisingly, the lead up and the battle itself cue up quite a few callbacks and references to other Star Wars stories, including a few cameos that should get fans excited for the future of the Mandoverse! Here are all the easter eggs...

This review of The Orville: New Horizons contains spoilers.
The Orville: New Horizons Season 3 Episode 7
Creator and showrunner Seth MacFarlane is seizing every opportunity with the third season of The Orville. This Hulu streaming renaissance has already proved itself to be the show’s most mature, poignant, and character-driven season to date.
One needs to look no further than the title of this episode to see one of its central messages. “From Unknown Graves” is a line from “The Witnesses,” a poem written in the 19th century by Henry Wadworth Longfellow which outlines the crimes committed in America against slaves.
The central story (as there are many threads within this episode) opens on a gray-alien suburban street. There are two children who are excited when they spot their father’s car pulling into the driveway, asking if he finally brought some coveted gift home to them. The father pushes a...

Originally, when Luke Skywalker made an appearance at the end of “The Mandalorian” season two finale he was played by actor Mark Hamill with digital alterations to de-age to a post-“Star Wars: Return of The Jedi” version of the Jedi hero. However, the look of the character was unsettling. It appeared Lucasfilm had figured out how to fix some of those issues when Skywalker made his triumphant return in an episode of “The Book of Boba Fett,” where it seemed that the on-set performance was completely replaced by body double actor Graham Hamilton and Hamill wasn’t involved.

Say what you will about the overall quality of The Book of Boba Fett, there’s absolutely no doubt that it’s leaning heavily on fan service in its final episodes. Tons of easter eggs, callbacks to famous Star Wars moments, and a whopping number of character cameos have turned this show into yet another major streaming event for Disney+. In fact, chapter 6, “From the Desert Comes a Stranger,” takes the kitchen sink approach to big cameos. Suddenly, Everyone is in The Book of Boba Fett.
Here’s a breakdown of all the characters who were re-introduced in the episode and what you need to know about the actors who play them:
Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill and Graham Hamilton)
Jedi Master and original Star Wars protagonist Luke Skywalker is back, but not to bash Imperial dark troopers. “From the Desert Comes a Stranger” picks...

Luke Skywalker made a surprising and epic return to "Star Wars" in the season two finale of "The Mandalorian," but it seemed unlikely that we'd see him reappear. Never count a Jedi out, though! Episode six of "The Book of Boba Fett" takes a detour from the adventures of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand and, instead, catches up with our favorite padawan, Grogu - and his Jedi master, Luke Skywalker, in the exact likeness of a young Mark Hamill, is right there, too. Of course, Mark Hamill is now 70 years old, so who played him in "The Book of Boba Fett"? How did the show pull off this trick of de-aging?
The end credits of the episode give us a pretty good idea of how things went down. Mark Hamill is listed in the credits, with his name appearing over the concept art illustration of Luke and Grogu. Also in the credits,...

The Book of Boba Fett‘s climactic war against the Pykes grows ever nearer, but first it’s time for a reunion with some old friends. In fact, Din Djarin encounters much of his supporting cast from The Mandalorian in “From the Desert Comes a Stranger,” while on his quest to deliver a gift to Grogu. Meanwhile, Cobb Vanth is back and trying to uphold the law in Tatooine’s small towns in his own way. But the Pyke Syndicate has other ideas.
Here are all the Star Wars references and easter eggs we spotted in this episode…
Cad Bane and Corey Burton
– The blue Duro bounty hunter who appears near the end of the episode is a Star Wars staple. Cad Bane debuted in The Clone Wars, clashing with the likes of Obi-Wan Kenobi and taking the young Boba Fett into his gang.

Nominated for Best Limited Series/TV Movie Supporting Actress for Netflix’s “Unbelievable” at the Emmys, Toni Collette led our odds during Phase 1, but she is now in second place for the win after her co-stars Kaitlyn Dever and Merritt Wever were egregiously left out of the lead actress lineup. “Watchmen’s” Jean Smart is out in front after the HBO series racked up 26 nominations, while three “Mrs. America” gals — Uzo Aduba, Margo Martindale and Tracey Ullman — and “Hollywood’s” Holland Taylor trail Collette in that order. The actress previously earned three Emmy citations, her first for “Tsunami: The Aftermath” in this very category in 2007 and her other two for “United States of Tara” in Best Comedy Actress in 2009 — which she won — and ’10. Here’s why I believe she can collect her second Emmy for “Unbelievable.”
