General Hospital (Gh) spoilers and updates for Monday, April 29 tease help offered, a mystery meeting, and an observation.
Next On General Hospital
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) offers help, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) asks about a mystery meeting and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) makes an observation.
Dex Offers Help
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) sees Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) in a clearing, she asks for his help and he says ok., and says it actually depends on her.
Kristina doesn’t want to believe that Sonny ordered Dex to kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) after he has beaten him senseless.
Kristina knows that her father takes care of business, but he doesn’t hit someone when they are down.
What danger could this old man have been to Sonny or anyone else in his condition? Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) allegations obviously shook Kristina up so Dex will want to straighten it out!

John Cates Doesn’t Believe In Coincidences
The Gh preview video for the week of April 15 starts with a bang, as John reveals to Anna how he was beaten up a block from the Corinthos Coffee warehouse last week.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers note that fans finally learned who Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was protecting against those Rico violations all this time, and it was none other than Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Now, he’s forced to be the bait for Pikeman, as John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) hangs this over his head to get him to do his bidding. But, is there a plot twist on the horizon?
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer’s New Love Interest
Gh spoilers suggest that while Carly’s single now, this won’t last too long. With Jason’s return, many fans have been wondering if Jarly will ditch the friends’ zone for a romantic relationship.
However, during a recent Sod interview, actress Laura Wright made it clear that with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) still in the Port Charles’ picture, this is highly unlikely.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers note that many people in Port Charles have been buzzing about how much Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has changed since he was gone. Two-and-a-half years is a long time to be away, and it’s hard to think that Stone Cold didn’t have “another life” and partake in any romance during his absence from the canvas.
He’s keeping mum about everything he’s been through since he’s been gone; however, could he have a secret gal pal that shows up in Port Charles?
General Hospital Spoilers – Was “Alan Jacobs” Single The Entire Time?
Gh spoilers note that Jason was going by the name of “Alan Jacobs” while he was away from PC, which means he lived an entirely different life than the one he’s known for in the little town. He even got a new tattoo, which completely caught Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) off guard.

A lot of General Hospital changes have happened so far this year and more seem to be on the horizon. Who is exiting? Who can we expect to return? And what do fans think about this major recast we have seen so far? Could another recast be coming?
Esme Prince and Spencer Cassadine Exit
General Hospital spoilers reveal that several cast changes are coming for the show in 2024. Avery Kristen Pohl exited when Esme Prince fell overboard and was presumed dead. Spencer Cassadine (Alexander Chavez) fell overboard as well and there is news about him too.
William Lipton returned as Cameron Webber for a short time but is gone again as well. Lipton is now in Amazon’s The Runarounds.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers indicate that it’s been a hot minute since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) broke up.
Of course, once the truth came out about Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) stalking of the superspy and her accidental shooting at the hands of Anna, things fell apart in this relationship, fast.
Still, is there any hope that “someday” fans could see a Vanna reunion?
General Hospital Spoilers – There’s Still Feelings There
Gh spoilers suggest that despite breaking up with Valentin months ago, Anna has yet to get involved with anyone else.
Actress Finola Hughes recently had a chat with Soap Opera Digest (Sod) where she talked about all things Anna; from her new job as Police Commissioner to her change of heart where Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is concerned, her dynamic with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington), and her break up with Valentin.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers note that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been a wreck since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned to town. While she’s happy he’s alive, with the situation he’s in, she’s terrified that she’ll lose him again. Could she hit rock bottom in the process?
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Is Spiraling
Gh spoilers suggest that Carly can’t seem to focus on anything at the moment, except for Jason.
Makes sense, as, unlike some others in Port Charles, she only saw Stone Cold for mere moments, until she was interrupted by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).
During the Tuesday, March 26 episode, Carly found out Jason was at the police station and went running to see him, which seems completely crazy; how would she gain access to a felon if she wasn’t his lawyer?

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers note that the debut of John Brennan, played by actor Charles Mesure, on December 1, 2023, created quite a stir from fans online.
He was handsome, intriguing, charming, and seemed to have chemistry with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
The way he entered the canvas hinted he’d be sticking around for a little while, which is why viewers were more than shocked when his storyline was quickly, and almost abruptly, brought to a halt. Could he ever return?
Gh Spoilers: There’s Been Some Clues …
Gh spoilers suggest that during the short time Brennan was in Port Charles, he created quite an impact. Many fans are excited to see him come back as he was a very interesting character, to say the least, and wasn’t given the full opportunity for his story to be told.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been locked in chaos and drama since the moment he stepped foot back in Port Charles.
Looks like he has an uphill battle ahead, not only detaching himself from John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) blackmail but also clearing his name where Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) shooting is concerned and re-earning the trust of some of his friends.
Still, once the dust settles on this, and he finds out what happened to Britte Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), will he look to avenge her death?

Adam J. Harrington is opening up about being the new actor playing the role of John “Jagger” Cates on General Hospital, almost 30 years after original star Antonio Sabato Jr. left the show.
Antonio starred on the soap opera series from 1992 to 1995 and he has never returned, but he had some thoughts about Adam taking over the role.
“So now, they started a new character by the name of John. They don’t even call him ‘Jagger’. They call him ‘John’ because they know that the character’s only been played by me ’cause it’s part of who I am. It’s my life,” Antonio said.
Well, now Adam is opening up about being hired and how he didn’t even know which character he was playing when he signed on for the show!

Adam told Soap Opera Digest, “I had met [Casting Director] Mark Teschner in October [2023] for another role.

John “Jagger” Cates is back in Port Charles.
No one knew who he was when Carly (Laura Wright) bumped into the man who introduced himself only as John, telling her he used to work at Kelly’s.
However, pieces start to fall into place after hearing him talk about his son, who is on the spectrum to Olivia (Lisa LoCicero).
Jagger (formerly played by Antonio Sabato Jr.) was last seen on General Hospital in the mid-90s but was mentioned on the spin-off Port Charles when his wife, Karen Wexler, returned to town without him. They divorced, and she was killed off in 2003, leaving Jagger to raise his alone.
In 2008, Jagger popped up on the spin-off Gh: Night Shift. It was then revealed he was the head of the FBI. Robin (Kimberly McCullough) worked with Jagger’s son after suspecting he was on the spectrum. After that, he returned to the West Coast.

Mickey Haller’s life has been very eventful. From working out of the back of his car at the beginning of season one to his own office, his own staff, and being on the front page of every newspaper in the country, the titular Lincoln Lawyer from Netflix’s hit series The Lincoln Lawyer has had quite a turn-around. A high-profile murder case ending with your client getting executed vigilante-style in broad daylight tends to boost your profile. Now sober and ready to build his life again, Mickey (Manuel García-Rulfo) has clearly made the most of his second chance.
He’s clearly busy. Mickey spends season 2 rushing around from interview to interview, case to case, striking while the iron is hot. He’s stretched thin, and that strain is falling on everyone around him. The LA Times interviews and horseback riding lessons are all fun,...

The Coupon is an excellent dark comedy short film made by filmmaker Laura Seay, who stars in and directs this. A wife makes her husband a set of "love coupons" for his birthday, but when he ends up giving them away to a stranger, he shows up at their house demanding she honor the coupon. It gets even more awkward from there. Seay stars as Wendy, along with Micah Cohen as her husband, Adam J. Harrington as the creepy guy, and LeShay N. Tomlinson as her attorney. On the eve of release, developer Telltale Games has lifted the lid on the official launch trailer for its five-part Guardians of the Galaxy series, promising a whole new adventure for Star-Lord and the gang.
Soon after answering a distress call from the Nova Corps, Peter Quill and his loyal band of anti-heroes go up against Thanos, the Mad Titan of the Marvel universe, in exchange for a clean slate. It’s slightly similar to James Gunn’s 2014 sleeper hit in that Star-Lord and the other Guardians begrudgingly accept a mission in an attempt to clear their names, but Telltale has made it clear that its imminent episodic series features an original story, and it’s one that’ll begin with the release of “Tangled Up in Blue” tomorrow, April 18th.

So a brand new trailer has been released for Telltale's newest addition to their story-heavy games. That new game is Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. The trailer is great and gives you just enough to be interested but not so much that it gives everything away. It stars all our favorite guardians as they go up against Thanos, all of whom want the Galactic Macguffin.
The series will have Scott Porter as Star-Lord, Emily O'Brien as Gamora, fan favorite Nolan North as Rocket Racoon, Brandon Paul Eells as Drax, and Adam Harrington as Groot.
The action looks awesome, and the style and art of the Guardians and other characters is cool and slick. Star-Lord looks like a badass, and Gamora looks like the comic Gamora that I know and love. Plus, the song at the end is a solid powerhouse that pays tribute to the film's love of music.

The first trailer for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, has finally arrived! See the debut trailer below!
Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot are about to embark on a whole new adventure that will include new enemies, new treasure, and a battle with the big bad himself, Thanos! The trailer for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series reveals just enough of the personality of our beloved misfits to get us intrigued! See it for yourself!
The best line of the entire trailer had to be, "You can't possibly know that!" in response to Star-Lord's comment about being on the slowest elevator in the universe. It also shows just how hard Telltale is working on creating a game reminiscent of the 2014 McU film, which is no easy task.

It’s the Guardians vs. Thanos in the rip-roaring first teaser for Guardians Of The Galaxy: The Telltale Series.
Slated to premiere in April with the launch of “Tangled Up in Blue,” Telltale’s latest creative venture pits Star-Lord and the gang against the Mad Titan, who has waged war on the Nova Corps. In their darkest hour, the people of the Nova Corps turn to the Guardians of the Galaxy as their last remaining hope, and though today’s first-look promo is light on story, the final shot sees the universe’s unlikeliest heroes preparing to lock horns with Thanos – a battle that won’t happen on the big screen until at least Avengers: Infinity War.
As previously reported, Guardians Of The Galaxy: The Telltale Series is considered a separate beast with its own unique story, and therefore won’t be beholden to the continuity of the McU.

Telltale Games is doing some great things in the gaming world, especially for casual gamers like me. Their Walking Dead series and their Batman series are both great! They have now released our first look at the upcoming Marvel game Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. They also offer some new details on what the game will entail along with the voice cast.
That cast includes Friday Night Lights star Scott Porter as Star-Lord, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor actress Emily O'Brien as Gamora, Uncharted actor Nolan North will play Rocket Raccoon, Watch Dogs' Brandon Paul Eells will voice Drax, and The Wolf Among Us' Adam Harrington will voice Groot.
The story for the series will follow the Guardians team as they discover a powerful artifact after a major battle. Each of the Guardians wants the relic for different reasons, as does a villain who is the last of her kind.

On the eve of its presentation at Pax East, developer Telltale Games has today unveiled the stunning first images for its Guardians of the Galaxy series.
First announced at The Game Awards back in December, the studio’s serialized spin on the Marvel motley crew takes a leaf out of James Gunn’s book in that it follows the adventures of Star-Lord and the gang “from Earth to the Milano to Knowhere and beyond.” The similarities end there, however, as Telltale’s five-part Guardians of the Galaxy saga features a totally original story for the universe’s unlikeliest heroes.
Little is currently known about the game’s actual plot, but now that the first screenshots are out in the wild, we fully expect Telltale to roll out a teaser trailer – and possibly lock down a release date – in the Albatross Theatre tomorrow, March 10th. One thing we do know for sure,...

We have the first cancellation leading in to the May upfronts as Fox has let the axe fall on the futuristic, hunktastic buddy cop show Almost Human. While ratings were good enough to merit a second season, apparently there was no room for the show with so many other dramas renewed and three strong drama pilots. Supernatural, Season 9, Episode 14: “Captives”
Written by Robert Berens
Directed by Jerry Wanek
Airs Tuesdays at 9pm (Et) on The CW
The death of Kevin at the hands of Gadreel was one of the more memorable moments of the ninth season, and stands as the most definitive effect of Dean’s trust in the Angel that promised to cure Sam. As someone who inadvertently ended up as the Prophet, and went through arguably as much in the way of negative experiences as the Winchesters, Kevin proved himself a resourceful and trustworthy ally, giving his death that much more of an impact. This week’s episode sees the ghost of Kevin return to ask the Winchesters for one last wish, in a solid outing that works to further advance the story of Angels.
The ascension of Castiel into a leadership position once again is a promising development.

After a short break, the Winchester brothers are back and investigating a haunted bunker. Here’s a look at photos and preview videos from Captives:
“The thrilling and terrifying journey of the Winchester brothers continues as Supernatural enters its ninth season. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have spent their lives on the road, battling every kind of supernatural threat. Over the years, after dozens of bloody adventures, they have faced everything from the yellow-eyed demon that killed their mother to vampires, ghosts, shapeshifters, Angels and fallen gods. They even came face to face with Lucifer and the Four Horsemen in averting the Apocalypse. With the help of allies — both human and supernatural — they’ve discovered that every threat they vanquish opens a new door for evil to enter in. In the show’s eighth season, their supernatural hunting expedition led them directly into an age-old power struggle involving the King of Hell,...

Supernatural focused on Castiel this week. A scruffy, tired, hungry human Castiel without any of his superpowers.
What was the best scene in "I'm No Angel?" What was it like to see Castiel in this kind of state? What about the reapers for hire? The Round Table team of Carissa Pavlica, Sean McKenna and Alice (from Winchester Family Business) are back with their analysis of the latest Season 9 episode.
Jump in and join the debate!
-------------------------------------------
What was your favorite scene from the episode?
Carissa: Watching Castiel have sex as a human. Yes, because he's hot. I just wish he had been having it with a real woman rather than a snake.
Alice: Surprisingly, it was the scene with Castiel and the woman with the sick husband in the church. It’s so fascinating, isn’t it, that a former angel gets a unwavering lesson about faith from a human woman with a sick husband.

When HuffPost TV visited the Vancouver-based set of "The Secret Circle" the cast was in the midst of filming the April 19 episode, "Crystal," in and around a disused mine.
As we discovered in the March 29 episode, the circle is in desperate need of each family's crystal if they hope to protect themselves against demon-fueled witch hunter Eben and his cronies. By our count, Cassie (Britt Robertson) and Ethan (Adam Harrington) hold two of the crystals (presumably the Blake and Chamberlain stones), while Dawn and Charles drained the power of a third. "Crystal" will deal specifically with the Armstrong and Glaser gems, as Chris Zylka (Jake) and Jessica Parker Kennedy (Melissa) previewed for us on set.
"My grandmother is a witch and she is a holder of one of our crystals, which we desperately need to get," Parker Kennedy explained. "We kind of need to be sneaky and go around her...

Luck, Season 1, Episode 8
Written by John R. Perrotta and Jay Hovdey
Directed by Allen Coulter
Airs Sundays at 10pm Et on HBO
This week, Mike had Nathan Israel cut up into little pieces, wrapped in plastic, and thrown overboard, never to be seen again. A similar fate befell Luck itself in the same week. After a third horse died on set – though apparently not while filming was taking place – HBO and the show’s producers agreed to halt production on the already-ordered Season 2, on which they already wrapped two episodes. (I’ve seen some people claim HBO will air these episodes; I have my doubts, and think they’d probably be better suited to getting tacked onto a DVD set of the first, and now only, season.)
So, very suddenly, the end of Luck as a whole is very near. Mo Ryan already hit most of the points I’d...
