It was back to business as usual for Sam in Dean in this week’s episode of Supernatural — a case, a kill — but the difference was that throughout the episode, Sam made it quite clear that he has very little interest in “the usual.” And, lately, some fans have been faulting him for that. “Why are they making him ‘selfish’?” “Why is Sam being ‘ruined’?” Etc. But this week’s episode took a stab at explaining Sam’s perspective a bit — and if you didn’t understand his way of thinking by the end of the episode, you probably never will.

Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Season 8, Episode 3 of The CW's "Supernatural," entitled "Heartache."
Episode three of "Supernatural" Season 8 (which was actually filmed first this year to give director Jensen Ackles time to prepare) was basically a standard "Monster of the Week" installment, but like many of the show's best standalone entries, it also helped contextualize the brothers' relationship to help the audience understand what's motivating them at this point in the season.
Up until this week's episode, Dean had seemingly convinced himself that Sam would eventually reacclimatize to the life and rediscover his passion for hunting, just as Dean did in Purgatory, but "Heartache" saw Sam tell his older brother, in no uncertain terms, that he fully intended to quit the family business once they'd found Kevin and laid their Hell Gate quest to rest.

Heather Mills won Whitney Houston tickets in a radio phone-in. The charity campaigner contacted British station Heart FM Sussex on Saturday, April 24, to try and get her hands on two pairs of 110 pound sterling tickets to the "Million Dollar Bill" singer's show in London on Wednesday, April 28.
Heather called into Paul Hayes' show and was randomly selected from dozens of hopefuls to be put through live. Describing herself as "Heather from Hove" who was "just about to take her dog for a walk", the 42-year-old blond successfully identified the missing word to a Whitney song to win the tickets.
Heather then screamed, "That's wonderful. Thank you so much. I can take my girlfriend. I'm really excited." Despite saying she was taking a friend during the call, Heather has now claimed she wanted to win the tickets for an ex-partner's 82-year-old mother.
