- The German actor became one of the most popular actors on comedic television alongside Anke Engelke in the comedy series "Ladykracher". Christoph Maria Herbst was initially seen at the Bremerhaven City Theater from 1992 to 1996, until he switched to television in 1998 with participation in series such as "Balko" and "Alarm für Cobra 11". In 2000 he played in the series "Die Wache" until he switched to comedy with "Ladykracher" in 2001. For his performance he was awarded the German Comedy Award "Best Supporting Actor" in 2002. He appeared in front of a cinema camera for the first time in 2002 for "The Really Last Bachelor" and "Lassie". From 2004 onwards, the TV series "Stromberg" became his star role, in which he played the lazy and power-hungry office worker "Bernd Stromberg".
