Brent Heyning is a leader in creation of physical effects for film,
television and live experiences. With two decades of Hollywood movies
under his belt he engineers effects for blockbuster films, from
vehicles in Dark Knight Rises to spacecraft and new worlds. Brent
specializes in difficult engineering tasks for film such as the helmets
in Tron: Legacy, where 77 helmets required cooling, communication
systems, power and specific frequencies of LED lighting to match visual
effects.
In 2011 Brent and his wife Evonne founded Toyshoppe Systems to create
extraordinary effects for stages of all sizes, from arts festivals and
large experiences to touring shows, films and works for major music
artists including programming OLED video screens for Will.I.Am of the
Black Eyed Peas for the 2011 Superbowl.
Brent is a talented voiceover artist with a number of films and
animated shorts to his credit and has served as a production designer
for many stage shows, festivals and live theatrical experiences. He
frequently consults well-known producers and filmmakers before new
projects are launched and has the Toyshoppe crew available for high
tech prop building in downtown Los Angeles.
