Matthew Lawrence can still get it. The former star of '90s series "Boy Meets World" and "Brotherly Love" proved he's still one sexy beast on Labor Day weekend, as he was seen walking around Los Angeles with his equally-cute dog on Monday. The shirtless star, now 35, flaunted his fit physique and washboard abs during an outing with his pooch. The actor reprised his role as Shawn Hunter's brother, Jack Hunter, on "Girl Meets World" just last month. While his character finished "Boy Meets World" by joining the Peace Corps with girlfriend Rachel (Maitland Ward), it was revealed the two didn't make it in the long run when he returned to the Disney spin-off. Matthew also recently reunited with his real life bother, Joey Lawrence, on the small screen, appearing on a handful of episode of his ABC Family series "Melissa & Joey." Joey keeps fans updated on the entire...

Looking good, Matthew Lawrence (or should we say Jack Hunter?). The 35-year-old Girl Meets World star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Monday, where the actor showed of his toned abs while taking his dog for a stroll. Wearing a pair of athletic shorts, tennis shoes and fedora-style cap, the actor soaked up the sun and appeared relaxed with his pooch. Although it's been 15 years since Boy Meets World went off the air (Lawrence played Shawn Hunter's half-brother and the best friend of Eric Matthews), it appears that the middle Lawrence brother still has his signature charm and studly looks. Look: Rider Strong and Ben Savage gush over each...

To celebrate the death of the Defense of Marriage Act, the New Yorker featured an illustration of Sesame Street's Bert and Ernie snuggling on a sofa on the cover of its upcoming issue.
"It's amazing to witness how attitudes on gay rights have evolved in my lifetime," cover artist Jack Hunter told the magazine's Culture Desk. "This is great for our kids, a moment we can all celebrate."
Many have lauded Hunter's endearing cover art, with some calling the depiction of the fictitious duo "adorable," "fantastic," "amazing," and "moving."
The response to the New Yorker cover hasn't been all positive, however.
Some netizens -- on both sides of the same-sex marriage debate -- have slammed the magazine for sexualizing the children's show and its characters, while others have called the cover art "demeaning" and "crass."

Should the ‘Sesame Street’ stars be used as poster-children for same-sex marriage? The debate begins!
For as long as Bert and Ernie have shared a one-bedroom apartment on Sesame Street, the public has speculated about the pair’s relationship, with many assuming the felt-skinned ‘friends’ are actually something more. The New Yorker‘s latest cover — which features the Muppet-y men cuddling on their couch, watching a news report about the Supreme Court overturning the Defense of Marriage Act — is bringing new attention to the are-they-or-aren’t-they debate. And, naturally, the controversial cover is being met with mixed reviews.
Jack Hunter, who illustrated the controversial cover, posted a statement on The New Yorker‘s official website.

The New Yorker released a look at its newest cover image today, and it's one that marks the Supreme Court's landmark June 26 ruling on the Defense of Marriage Act with the help of two small screen icons. "Sesame Street" characters Bert and Ernie are shown cuddling in front of a television as news of the decision airs. The artist, Jack Hunter, originally submitted his image, unsolicited, via tumblr. "It's amazing to witness how attitudes on gay rights have evolved in my lifetime," he's quoted as saying. "This is great for our kids, a moment we can all celebrate." Despite Bert and Ernie's longterm co-habitation and shared bedroom, Sesame Workshop claims they are not, in fact, a couple, having released an official statement on Facebook in 2011: "Bert and Ernie are best friends. They were created to teach preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves.

Sesame Street’s official party line on Bert and Ernie is as follows: “Bert and Ernie are best friends. They were created to teach preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves. Even though they are identified as male characters and possess many human traits and characteristics (as most Sesame Street Muppets do), they remain puppets, and do not have a sexual orientation.”

HollywoodLife.com caught up with the stars of ‘Boy Meets World’ to find out what their characters are up to — and when we’ll see them on the spin-off.
We were all excited when news first broke that Boy Meets World was being rebooted via a spin-off on Disney Channel — but not half as excited as the stars, themselves! Rider Strong, Matthew Lawrence and more of the original BMW stars walked the carpet June 6 at the opening night of the Atx Television Festival, and they told HollywoodLife.com that plans to return are already in motion.
Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter):
Cory (Ben Savage) wouldn’t be the man he is today without his bad-boy best friend Shawn Hunter, and according to Rider, we can expect to see the duo reunited very soon:
