Despite the many late-90s romantic comedies inspired by classic literature, "10 Things I Hate About You" has stood the test of time unlike any other. Based on "The Taming of the Shrew," the film remained faithful to its Shakespearean roots and was an endearing romantic comedy for the ages. "10 Things I Hate About You" followed the Stratford sisters, whose strict father won't allow his high schooler daughter Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) to date unless her older sister Kat (Julia Stiles) does. Kat is witty, snarky, and rebellious; she has her eyes set on college and doesn't want to waste time with boys. When new student Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) falls for Bianca, he hatches a plan to get Kat to date Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger), a rough-edged outsider with a glorious head of hair and devastatingly deep voice. Kind of a package deal, but Kat doesn't care.

When it comes to being a jack of all trades, Quentin Dupieux wrote the book. He can write, produce, shoot, edit, score, and these abilities have led to an extremely successful career both in music and film.
His last film, Rubber, the story of a killer car tyre with psychic powers was a runaway success at Cannes festival and has now earned him a following among cult film fanatics. Recently Quentin returned to the festival circuit with his new film, Wrong. The film loosely centers around a strange young man named Dolph who wakes up to find his best friend in the world, his dog, Paul, has gone missing. In the search to reclaim his lost pet, he leads the audience on a journey through a strange world where all the rules associated with reality are simply tossed out the window.

Robin Lippin on Gerard Butler: I was casting "Attila," the miniseries, and it was an extremely hard role. We had to find someone who could carry the mini and have charisma and yet be able to exude leadership and a barbaric quality. He also had to have an amazing body and good looks (it is TV, after all). Gerry had been referred by the CD in London, and I brought him in. I felt he had it all, but the executive at the time wasn't convinced. He wanted me to keep looking and told me to go to Crunch, the gym where all the hotties worked out. I wanted to die. I mean, this was a powerful role and needed an amazing actor. I think the exec was worried about his accent.I fought really hard for him, and luckily the director and producers were behind him. I even offered to...
