Keith Johnson(I)

As a child Keith lived with his grandparents, Frank and Lois Johnson in
Blythewood, South Carolina, where he attended The Bethel School until
his grandfather died when Keith was thirteen years old. At the age of
fourteen years old moved to Washington, DC. There he attended Taft Jr.
High and Roosevelt Senior High. After high School he attended Federal
City College aka University of the District of Columbia. He studied at
The Theatre School, which is now known as The National Conservatory of
Dramatic Arts, and graduated from Washinton International College with
BA in Performing Arts. He is married to Mischelle Fonville the daughter
of the legendary Jazz Bass player Benny Fonville. He has two adult
sons. Amoung his proudest work is the 2002 World Premier of Zora Neale
Hurston's "Polk County" at Arena Stage in Washington, DC in which he
played Do Dirty. His work has received rave reviews in the Washington
Post and New York times.
