The 1970's was an era of extravagant hair dos and fashion senses that will test the contrast option on your television settings! It was also the time of the Kung Fu Boom and therefore the inevitable attempt of Hong Kong studios to attempt to cash in. Long before Jackie Chan made his first crack at international stardom, we got “Slaughter in San Francisco” aka “Yellow Faced Tiger” with Wong Tao in the lead and Lo Wei at the helm. Throw in Chuck Norris as the bad guy with the incredible chest hair and you have a movie that is pure 1974, released by Eureka Entertainment in their latest addition to their collection.

A widow and her family have sued Celebrity Cruises for improperly storing her husband’s body after he died while they were on a ship last year. They claim his body was left to decompose, leading them to suffer from intense emotional trauma.
Marilyn Jones‘ husband, Robert Jones, died of a heart attack last summer while onboard the Celebrity Equinox. His body was stored for almost a week inside a cooler used for drinks instead of a morgue like she was promised. The mishandling led the body to turn bloated and green, preventing the family from having an open-coffin funeral. Marilyn Jones and her family are seeking $1 million in damages.
The lawsuit stated that after her husband’s death, Marilyn, then 78, was given two different options by the crew – to have his body taken off at the next stop in Puerto Rico or to store his body in the ship...

With Almost Human arriving soon, Rob compares the merits of ten Jj Abrams-produced TV shows, from Lost, to Alias, Revolution, and more...
Warning: contains spoilers for Revolution, and Lost.
Most would agree, Jj Abrams has had a successful career which has gone from strength to strength. Undoubtedly, Star Wars now offers an opportunity for him to reach a creative zenith, but represents also his largest risk. His stylistic choices may not be to everyone’s tastes and he himself admits that there are elements over which he has an obsession (lens flares & secrecy) but these are still a matter of personal taste (I’m ambivalent over the former, and truly appreciate the latter). All that aside, outside his burgeoning film directing career, as an executive producer Abrams has been responsible for an incredible amount of television in a very small space of time.
