She met James Mason on the set of I Met a Murderer (1939), which was produced, directed and
photographed by her husband, Roy Kellino. She had an affair with Mason and
shortly afterward divorced Kellino and married Mason.
According to Pamela's sister as stated in her biography of James Mason, Pamela selfishly and mercilessly took everything from James Mason as a
result of their divorce.
Daughter of Isidore Ostrer, a producer and member of the family
that controlled Gaumont British studios.
Dropped out of school at the age of nine, later declaring that 'education only confuses the mind'.
