When Morgan Evans and Kelsea Ballerini were pronounced husband and wife Dec. 2 on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the young newlyweds and their 100 guests toasted with a tequila shot.

Nobody knows better than Jason Aldean the cruel and random nature of tragedy.
When he signed up for a benefit concert back in September, he was volunteering to help hurricane victims. But by the time he took the stage in Nashville on Sunday night, he was singing, as well, for the victims of bullets that had rained down on his own Las Vegas concert.
As Aldean told the sold-out crowd at Bridgestone Arena, “It’s been a rough couple months for us up here.”
Aldean’s presence brought a raw immediacy to the evening, and the 40-year-old artist chose to respond with defiance.

One of the best and most fascinating aspects of Mr. Robot season 2 was Tyrell Wellick’s very conspicuous absence.
The simple absence of a lead character is such an underutilised yet powerful tool in the TV showrunner’s tool belt. Our brains crave patterns and consistency and when a pattern is broken is such a severe way like a lead actor suddenly disappearing, those same brains can’t help but mistake a simple absence for importance.

This is Darius Rucker, unfiltered.
In honor of his fifth solo album, When Was the Last Time, the Grand Ole Opry member and three-time Grammy winner sat down with Et to indulge in a bottle of his signature Backstage whiskey for an Interview Under the Influence.
"Backstage we thought was a great name because of what I do, but it all started back in the day," Rucker says, referencing a 1997 festival performance with his rock band, Hootie and the Blowfish.

George Strait, Reba McEntire, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini and 17 other stars were all in their places, ready to have their photo taken. So what was the holdup? Just like the country song says, they were waitin’ on a woman – and this woman was worth the wait.
Suddenly, a vision in pink sequins floated into the room, and the room erupted in whoops and cheers. Let’s face it: No one quite knows how to make an entrance like Dolly Parton. Sidling up to Strait, she dropped an elbow on his shoulder – why would Strait mind? – and soon the camera’s flash was popping.

Lady Antebellum knows it might sound odd, but the truth is the band’s new album, Heart Break, has more to do with happy homes than broken hearts. Take the song “Home,” which was inspired by the trio’s spouses.
“There’s a line in the chorus: ‘You’re the steady through whatever/ The shelter from the storm’ and in my marriage, I’m the one who is up and down — really, really happy, really, really sad,” says Hillary Scott, whose husband Chris Tyrrell plays drums for the band. “I’ve called my husband my steady for a long time.

Transformers: The Last Knight is a tiresome mix of self-aware silliness and Budweiser-branded apocalypse porn, but compared to Michael Bay’s previous Hasbrosploitations, at least this one is – dare I say – momentarily fun? Not enough to avoid becoming a dizzy mecha-mess of metallic chaos, mind you. Let’s be realistic. Early predictions of a 3:20 length only missed by about 50-or-so minutes, sticking to the franchise’s boorish signatures. First it’s men against bots, then bots against bots, then Medieval bots against newer bots, then Earth against Cybertron (like, the planets themselves) – be still, my swirling head. Focus on the blatant Suicide Squad ripoff and dogpiled sexual humor. Maybe that will distract from from the distractions themselves.
If you’re keeping tabs on Transformers continuity, The Last Knight is where it all ties together (or, kinda tries). Autobots and Decepticons are now outlaws. National governments assemble anti-robot agency branches...

Guy Ritchie doesn’t quite have the same “style over everything” reputation of someone like Zack Snyder, but nobody could really accuse of him of making movies that are “classic” or “straightforward.” His Sherlock Holmes movies reshaped the detective into a guy who is so smart that he’s a punching genius, his Man From U.N.C.L.E. had so many unnecessary flashbacks and cutaways that charting out its timeline would make you look like Charlie Kelly trying to track down Pepe Siliva, and now his King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword puts the legendary king in a Macklemore coat and adds giant elephant monsters to the action. That movie is anything but classic and straightforward, but apparently Ritchie actually thought he was setting out to make something a bit more traditional than what he ended up with.

With so much hype surrounding shows’ Christmas and Halloween specials, it’s easy to forget that there have been some great St. Patrick’s Day episodes in the TV world. So here are a lucky seven episodes that’ll get you excited to celebrate the holiday! Or make you want to stay at home and chill, since all are available to stream on Netflix.
“30 Rock”
Like a double rainbow, “30 Rock” gave its fans not one, but two reasons to get excited, as it aired two St. Patrick’s Day episodes in 2009 and 2012. However, the 2009 episode, “The Funcooker,” is the standout. Written by Tom Ceraulo and Donald Glover, the episode sees Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) attend jury duty, in which the woman on trial hilariously reflects Liz’s own work problems. She must also juggle problems that arise when her show’s stars (Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski) pass out and curse while hosting the St.

Ice Cube and Charlie Day star as high school teachers prepared to solve their differences the hard way in the comedy Fist Fight, directed by Richie Keen (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) – in theaters February 17!
On the last day of the year, mild-mannered high school English teacher Andy Campbell (Day) is trying his best to keep it together amidst senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that put jobs on the line. But things go from bad to worse when he accidentally crosses his much tougher and deeply feared colleague, Ron Strickland (Cube), who challenges Campbell to an old-fashioned throw down after school. News of the fight spreads like wildfire and ends up becoming the very thing this school, and Campbell, needed.
Fist Fight also stars Tracy Morgan (“30 Rock”), Jillian Bell (“22 Jump Street”), Dean Norris (“Breaking Bad”), Christina Hendricks (“Mad Men”), Dennis Haysbert (“The Unit”), and JoAnna Garcia Swisher...

There’s a lot to love about being a mom or dad, but anyone who’s been there knows that diaper duty and midnight feedings can put a damper on the creative process.
So when the members of Lady Antebellum reunited after a year-long hiatus to work on their new album, they were given a little gift from their spouses: a brief vacation from parenting.
“We have an 11-month-old boy and he still wakes up in the middle of the night and super early,” lead singer and guitarist Charles Kelley told reporters at a Nashville press conference of his son Ward Charles.

Charles Kelley admits there was a little pressure when he, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood got back together last fall to begin work on a new Lady Antebellum album after a year-long break. “We thought, ‘We can’t take this kind of time off and not just blow everybody away,'” Kelley told reporters at a recent press event in Nashville.
The trio had taken a time-out in 2015 after releasing five albums in six years, including 2010’s multi-platinum smash Need You Now. “We felt like our heart, creatively needed a break,” Kelley, 35, said. “And we felt like our fans needed a break from us.

Lady Antebellum is back!
Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood hit the stage in Nashville, Tennessee, on Thursday night for an intimate performance of several new tracks from their upcoming album, Heart Break. The event was streamed on Facebook Live.
Off the new album, the trio played "This City," lead single "You Look Good," "Somebody Else's Heart," and the title track. Midway through the performance, they treated fans to an old favorite, "Bartender."
"Thank you guys for understanding that we needed to take a little break this past year or two and we're so excited about this new record we made," Kelley told the crowd. Later, the singer played bartender himself, offering Scott a swig of whiskey when she confessed, "my knees are shakin'."
Heart Break is due out on Jan. 9 and just before closing out the set, Haywood explained the significance behind the title.

Midway through the group’s album preview party Thursday night, Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott confided that her knees were shaking with nerves.
“Take a sip!” bandmate Charles Kelley urged her, holding up a glass of whiskey as Scott, 30, grimaced but obliged.
It’s been 16 months since the band went on hiatus to pursue other projects including Kelley’s solo effort, The Driver, and Scott’s gospel album, Love Remains, (both of which earned the singers Grammy nods), but they were clearly enjoying the excitement — and jitters — of their fresh start as they performed a handful of new songs in Nashville Thursday.

Last week 1980s actor Corey Feldman (Stand By Me, The Lost Boys, Goonies) appeared on NBC’s morning gabfest Today and performed a baffling rock number called “Go 4 It” from what was purported to be a double concept album entitled Angelic 2 The Core. What was this thing, exactly, and why was Feldman invited to perform it on national television? Here was a costumed man singing passionately about the battle between good and evil as part of some theatrical spectacle. It sounds like a plot from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. In fact, to prove this very point, YouTuber Jim Wirt has taken the liberty of replacing the audio from Feldman’s Today performance with a choice cut from Charlie Kelly’s infamous musical, The Nightman Cometh. More specifically, to give credit where it is due, Wirt is using “Daymanstep,” Joman’s 2012 dubstep remix of the Sunny ...

In 1961, 150 Irish Un soldiers were sent to the Congo to keep the peace during the changeover of control of the region to pro-Western factions. Led by Commandant Pat Quinlan, they soon found themselves facing down a force of 3,000 local troops led by French and Belgian Mercenaries in the employ of the local mining companies. Even though they were outnumbered 20 to 1, these Irish peacekeepers held their own in an extraordinary act of bravery. Now, this untold true story is coming to Netflix, with Jamie Dornan taking some time out from playing Christian Grey to take on the role of Quinlan in what promise to be an intense, action packed debut feature from director Richie Smyth. The cast, which also includes Guillame Calet, Sam Keeley, Charlie Kelly, Conor MacNeill, Michael McElhatton, Mike Noble, Jason O’Mara, Fionn O’Shea, Mikael Persbrandt, Conor Quinlan (grandson of Commandant Quinlan), Ronan Raftery, Emmanuelle Seigner, and...

Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott says she is baring her soul like never before in the first single off her upcoming faith-based album. "I want everyone to hear it through theirs." The ballad's lyrics, which tell of faith tested and affirmed, offers no hint about what Scott called "a really difficult thing,...

That must have been one heck of a Super Bowl party for Luke Bryan. On Monday, when the singer announced the newest members of the Country Radio Hall of Fame during the opening of this year's Country Radio Seminar, he blamed too much partying on a badly bobbled introduction. "I had a Super Bowl party at my house last night," Bryan, 39, said sheepishly. "The remnants of that may be present." Then on Tuesday, at the annual Team Umg concert event during Crs, the usually high-octane performer chose to park himself behind a piano. "I'm still hung over," he confessed to laughter from the crowd.

Now here's a stripped down version of Miley Cyrus that's easy to like! Charles Kelley's cover of Cyrus' hit song "Wrecking Ball" is slower, grittier - and proof that it's a good tune in any genre. When his label asked him to do a cover, Kelley, 34, didn't want to go the usual route. "Everybody does the same kind of thing," he tells People. "It's like, all right, let's pull out a Tom Petty song or whatever and play it." So to mix it up a bit, Kelley, whose debut solo album, The Driver, is out Friday, started thinking out of the box.
