“The Suicide Squad,” “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” “Coming 2 America” and “House of Gucci” lead the ninth annual Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild nominations (IATSE Local 706).
“The Suicide Squad,” released last August, was nominated in special makeup effects, contemporary makeup and contemporary hairstyling.
“The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” “Coming 2 America” and “House of Gucci” also landed three nominations, while “Dune” scored two nods. This bodes well for all the films which made the Oscar shortlist.
As previously announced, makeup artist Michèle Burke, known for her work on the Mission Impossible and Austin Powers franchises, and hairstylist Joy Zapata, who worked on “A Star is Born” and “Wonder Woman 1984,” will receive the 2022 Muahs Lifetime Achievement awards. The Distinguished Artisan award will be announced shortly.
The winners will be announced on Feb. 19 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Over the course of 15 years, Supernatural aired an extraordinary 327 episodes, every single one of them starring the same two people, a quite incredible achievement.

Here’s the harsh truth at the center of Supernatural‘s penultimate season finale: Jack needs to die — or at least that’s what Dean believes. The hunter even calls Jack “just another monster” before telling Sam that they have to do “the hard thing, the ugly thing” by ending him. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time they’ve been faced with such a situation, but this one is a little different because they’ve got an an assist from a familiar face: Chuck, aka God!
The Almighty shows up because he heard Cas’ prayer — and because Jack is “a problem.

Somehow, after all these years, Supernatural Season 14 is still finding ways to surprise and impress.
This Supernatural review contains spoilers.
Supernatural Season 14 Episode 2
Supernatural season 14 episode 2 brought us several storylines and plenty of drama to sink our teeth into. The search for Michael, Jack’s self discovery and Nick’s origin story were all given equal merit in an episode that cleverly juggled our interest between them. Each storyline was worthy of our time, and better yet, left us wanting more.
First, we’ll start with the archangel in the room: Michael. The episode opens on Michael’s mad science mixing angelic grace with monster blood. He’s experimenting to create something new. We find he can at least make werewolves shrug off silver like they’re too good for it. That makes things complicated for our hunters, but also brings up the question of what Michael is really creating.

After returning from a three week hiatus, Supernatural didn’t waste any time in forcing us to be on the edge our seats, now did it? Continuing to show how this world of hunting exists not in black and white, but in shades of grey, makes for some extremely compelling television, especially when you put British Man of Letters Mick Davies into the mix in order to illustrate such a point.
In last night’s episode, “Ladies Drink Free,” the producers took this to a new level by having Davies get his hands dirty in one of the most morally ambiguous cases to be presented this year. And, as the latest promo video illustrates, next week’s offering will be no less of a white knuckle ride.
From what we can tell, Mick will have to choose between following orders or continuing to forge his working relationship with Sam and Dean.

Alice: The final scene with Sam and Dean. Honestly, given how slow and choppy the pacing of this episode was, I’m surprised I lasted that long.
It was a worthwhile scene, though. Sam didn’t have to fight hard to get Dean to come around about working with the British Men of Letters. After all, they work with Crowley, and they aren’t dead yet.

Here are the best and funniest quotes from Sam and Dean Winchester?s adventures in the 13th episode of Supernatural season 12. Also, check out my recap of this episode.
Official Synopsis from the CW: "When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) look into a murder at a museum, they learn a ghost from a merchant ship that sunk in 1723 may be at the heart of the mystery. After realizing The Star was the same ship that Crowley?s (Mark Sheppard) son Gavin MacLeod (guest star Theo Devaney) should have been aboard, they enlist help from Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) to track Gavin down. Kelly Kline (guest star Courtney Ford), still pregnant with Lucifer?s child, takes refuge with a demon after an angel attempts to kill her."...

As much as I’ve been enjoying Riverdale, I have to admit that I’m growing tired of the network foregoing showing trailers for the next week’s episode of Supernatural in order to remind you to watch a show that’s twenty seconds away from airing. Luckily, you have us to deliver a sneak peek at “Family Feud.”
One thing I’ve learned over the course of the past twelve years is that any given episode of the series can generously add to the ever growing mythology without notice and, just last night, it happened yet again with the introduction of the Princes of Hell. Not only that, but it looked like that was indeed Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer in Crowley’s cage.
Looking forward, I’m really interested to see where the producers are going with this child of Lucifer storyline. As we can see in the footage provided,...

Sam & Dean have faced all kinds of demons over the years, not to mention, they've even managed to take down the Devil, himself, a time or two, but it looks like they may be in for a rude awakening over the next few weeks as they inch toward a possible showdown with the previously unheard of Princes of Hell - who can't be all that pleased after Sam managed to use the Lance of Michael on Ramiel. Next week's story will put the brothers back on Kelly Kline's trail as they attempt to recover Lucifer's unborn hellspawn before it can wreak havoc on humanity. They'll also attempt to solve a new case with the help of both Crowley and his mother Rowena. Check out the new promo for episode thirteen, titled "Family Feud," below: "Family Feud" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. Et) (Content Rating Tbd) (HDTV) Sam And...

There were plenty of stars experimenting with new looks over Halloween weekend, but there were also some updates that didn’t require a wig or makeup — just check out the new dos on Brie Larson, Sofia Vergara and Christina Ricci!
Larson, who’s been wearing her hair in an all-one-length light brown long bob for a while, stepped out last night at the Lacma Art + Film Gala with a bright blonde update shoulder and piecey bangs. The star’s known to switch up her hair, experimenting with different colors and lengths, but the bangs are new to us (unless you...

LeBron James' announcement that he's taking his formidable skills to the Miami Heat has prompted many in the hip-hip community to voice their opinions via Twitter.
When news of the NBA star's decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers for the southern team hit, a few hip-hop tweeters were downright shocked. CNN's Noreaga typed, "Lebron Dang man!!!" Detroit Mc Big Sean tweeted "Miami?!!" and seemed a trifle upset that 'Bron decided against staying in the Midwest, adding "should of went to the bulls."
But Ohio hip-hop stars like Bow Wow had nothing but e-love for James. "People kill me hating on somebody making decisions to better They life," Bow Wow typed. "Let them millions be in yo face You'll go to Singapore and play Gnr.

Christopher Guanlao was "born and raised as a Lakers fan," which means that when he's not playing drums for rock-radio mainstays Silversun Pickups, he's also following the NBA pretty heavily.
"A few weeks ago, we were playing a show in Orlando, and it was during Game 6 of the [NBA] Finals, and, as a Lakers fan, it was really frustrating, because I was only able to watch the first quarter," Guanlao told MTV News on Thursday (July 8). "So I had my drum tech give me updates on the score in between songs. It was pretty intense, but luckily, the Lakers ended up winning."
And so, with the entire NBA seemingly focused on the future of superstar free-agent LeBron James — who will announce...
