- Gareth Knapman was raised in Birmingham in the Midlands area of the United Kingdom. After training and jobbing as an actor through the early 2000's, Gareth co-founded (with Ruth Harrell) 'Ubiquity Theatre Company', a production and educational theatre company in his home city of Birmingham, in 2002. Gareth took sole control of the company in 2004 and moved to Leipzig, Germany in 2005, where he and his work are now established providers of socially proactive theatre in both English and German.
Gareth has also got a strong musical gift, playing the guitar, piano and other instruments to a high level as well as owning a strong singing voice.
