- He made guest appearances on all three of the longest running North American science fiction series: The X-Files (1993), Stargate SG-1 (1997) and Smallville (2001).

- Aside from having a major influence in the anime medium, Kopsa also had big roles in North American animation, including playing Beast, aka Hank McCoy, in X-Men: Evolution, taking on the role of Samukai in Lego Ninjago, and the Iron Man villain known as the Controller in Iron Man: Armored Adventures.

- Kopsa was known for his role as Char Aznable in the English dub of Mobile Suit Gundam and for his role as Commander Volcott O'Huey in Galaxy Angel.
