Actress Smita Bansal, who marks her debut as a scriptwriter in theatre with "Hello Zindagi", is confident it will leave the audience with a smile.
Produced by Felicity Theatre, the play will premiere on Saturday at Tata Theatre, Ncpa. Directed by Raman Kumar, the play revolves around five women of different backgrounds and characteristics who are staying together in a posh flat in Mumbai.

July 22, 2010: Television channels are going to face a tough challenge from August onwards, when the first e-serial of India will be launched for the 60 million netizens in the country.
The e-serials can be viewed exclusively on net. The e-serial will have total 24 episodes and each episode will have duration of five minutes. It is a unique initiative, which is the outcome of a talent hunt named ‘Maruti Suzuki- Ibibo i-Serial Star’. This talent hunt offers the users an opportunity to write, direct, and even act.
The upcoming e-serial will have eight actors, two scriptwriters, and two directors. The winners were selected by voting and finalized by the panel of judges, which included Raman Kumar, the creator of ‘Tara’.

All those who believed that Madhur Bhandarkar can only make grim and dark cinema with realism and expose thrown in are up for surprise beginning 2010. While filming on Jail is about to be begin soon, a dark subject like this would give way to more feel-good cinema for at least a couple of years. That's because post Jail, Madhur Bhandarkar would take a break from 'reality' cinema and instead move on to more entertaining genres like a musical and a comedy. "Jail has being designed as a quickie and once the shooting would be through, I will extend myself to different genres and style of cinema as well. The two subjects that I have in mind would be a musical and a comedy respectively. I will begin work on them immediately after Jail is wrapped up.
