- A German actress, she's known to American audiences (and fans of legendary director Stanley Kubrick in particular) as the beautiful farm girl who takes in Ryan O'Neal in Barry Lyndon.
- Her first husband Hubert Hahne was a racing driver for BMW better known for his successes in European racing. He retired from racing in 1970, the same year as their marriage and was a BMW agent in Dusseldorf.
To celebrate their marriage, his employer introduced a limited edition 2002 ti that was differed from the regular model with changes including twin headlights (from the 2800 CS) a leather interior and Italian aluminium wheels. Each of the twelve custom models built was different to each other by their colour and various other options.
