Beau L'Amour is the vice-president of Louis L'Amour Enterprises where
he has worked as an literary editor, art director, and marketing
director, in cooperation with Bantam Books. Since 1988 Louis L'Amour
Enterprises has sold over 100 million copies of the books of Louis
L'Amour (300 million since 1955) and nearly 4 million copies of audio
productions with Random House Audio Publishing.
L'Amour has worked as a supervising producer, writer, and director on
over 80 audio-book productions, many created in an "old time radio
theater' style. As an art director he has worked on hundreds of book,
magazine, and video covers as well as corporate identities. In addition
he has won an honorable mention from the American Society of
Illustrators for his work as an art director. He also manages the

At other times he's been a ghost writer, the producer of a syndicated
radio show, manager of a literary magazine, worked in numerous
positions on TV commercials, and worked extensively in motion picture
sound, both in post and on location.
He attended California Institute of the Arts, graduating in
1984.
