- Got her first real break by being cast as a dancer in John Hughes' Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987). A natural comedienne, Debra was chosen from several dancers to improvise a scene with John Candy and Steve Martin. The scene was ultimately cut from the film, but that comedic role got Debra her SAG card.
- Was named after Debbie Reynolds.
- Debra was in a history class with Rob Lowe during her senior year at Santa Monica High School.
- During her audition for director Mark Pirro, Debra suddenly jumped up on the desk and started to dance. Her zany antics won her the role of Shanna Shallow in Deathrow Gameshow (1987).
- 3D CGI animator Mark Kochinski used photos of Debra to create the nose-art for some of the fighter ships in Babylon 5 (1993). One of the fighter ships was named "Earth Angel", which features a nude Debra with large angel wings.
- Danced with the Portland Parks and Rec. Ballet Company from the age of 7 to 14, and performed in over a dozen theatrical productions with the company.
- Started writing poetry and plays when she was 9 years old.
- Debra was a regular performer at the famous Peanuts Night Club, located in West Hollywood, during the late 80's and early 90's.
- Performed stand up comedy at The Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles and was a member of Sam Longoria's The Wild Side Theater improv comedy troupe in Hollywood during the early 1990's.
- Went to 11 schools in 12 years.
- Graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1982.
- Debra was a student at the Van Mar Academy of Motion Picture and Television Acting with classmates Traci Lords and Tom Lister Jr..
- Debra Lamb won the "Betsy Palmer Award" for Best Female Performance for her role as Norma Bates in Chris R. Notarile's Psycho (1960) fan film, Mother (2020), at the First Annual Without Your Head (2006) Severed Limbs Film Festival Awards 2020.
- Debra Lamb won the Best Actress Award for her performance as Iris De'Bloome in 333: Illuminaughty (2019) at the First Annual Sarah of Horror Festival 2022.
