Patrick Lancelot was born on May 14, 1941 in Algiers, Alger, France. He was an actor and production manager, known for Le raid (2002), Les rois maudits (1972) and Van Gogh (1991). He died on November 28, 2000 in Carupano, Venezuela.
Lancelot was killed in a plane crash, together with cinematographer Bernard Lutic, while scouting locations for the French film Le raid (2002), when their hired twin-engine plane lost an engine while attempting to land about 550 miles from Caracas.
