Lisa Rinna shared that she would return to her old television stomping grounds if she were asked. She has been on a few popular shows in her time. Yet, she is currently exploring other aspects of her career. So, where would she go if she was given a second chance? Keep reading for more details.
Lisa Rinna Would Return To Her Old TV Stomping Grounds
For years, Lisa Rinna was known for stirring up trouble while telling women they looked gorgeous on Rhobh. She started in Season 5 and exited after Season 12 which was admittedly her roughest season. During the year, her mother, Lois, passed away and that caused her to lash out in ways she never had. It all culminated with an awful trip to Aspen with her co-stars where Kathy Hilton went on a rampage. After the season ended, Lisa opted to exit the series but this was not her first go-round.

Lisa Rinna says she’s open to returning to Melrose Place after news hit that a revival was in the works.
Rinna has kept booked and busy since her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, landing fashion campaigns and returning to acting. In a new interview, Rinna says she’s down to reprise the Taylor McBride role she played for three seasons in Fox’s primetime soap.
“Well, gosh, I’ve heard about it,” Rinna told People. “I haven’t been approached or anything, but I would love to see what Taylor McBride is up to 25 years later. Wouldn’t that be something?”
Rinna said working on Melrose Place “was one of my greatest and most fun acting experiences,” working alongside “Heather [Locklear] and the whole crew.”
“I mean, it was just a great, great experience,” she added. “So if they need a Taylor McBride appearance, they know who to call.

In the early 90s, producer Aaron Spelling and TV creator Darren Star struck primetime drama gold with the high school soap opera Beverly Hills 90210. The show laid the groundwork for some good old-fashioned scheduled viewing for homes waiting to see what kinds of trouble the kids at West Beverly would get into. While the series would get to put its characters in some compromising situations like Brandon’s gambling, Brenda‘s pregnancy scare, Dylan’s drug use or Donna Martin graduating, Spelling would explore more steamy stories with the spin-off Melrose Place. The show would crossover stars as Beverly’s Dylan and Kelly befriended Melrose resident Jake. And when Heather Locklear was added to the cast, the show’s popularity would skyrocket.

Melrose Place, which featured one of the most dramatic apartment complexes in TV history, could be opening its doors again.
Deadline is reporting that a reboot of the sudsy Fox primetime soap opera has entered development.
The good news is that many original stars have already been approached to return.
Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton, and Daphne Zuniga are already attached to the project, meaning that if the show gets a formal green light, we’ll be returning to WeHo with some familiar faces.
Melrose Place, a spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210, aired for seven seasons from 1992 to 1999.
A reboot premiered on The CW 10 years later but was canceled after an 18-episode run.

A revival of ’90s hit “Melrose Place” is in the works at CBS Studios, with original stars Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga and Laura Leighton set to return, TheWrap has learned.
The Darren Star-created night-time soap followed the complicated lives of several 20-somethings who lived in a Los Angeles apartment complex called Melrose Place, where the drama included a bombing, a drowning and a “Dynasty”-esque pool fight.

It’s been almost 25 years since Melrose Place ended so for the show’s silver anniversary, Hollywood is bringing three of its original stars back to the title locale for another round of the dishy soap opera. As reported by Deadline, cast members Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton, and Daphne Zuniga are all attached to the reboot as both stars and executive producers. It is reportedly in development at CBS Studios, which is looking for a network or streaming home for the series, including pitching to its original network home at Fox. The new edition of the ’90s classic drama, which was a spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210, is written by Lauren Gussis and revisits the show’s original characters. The characters will be brought back together by the death of one of their mutual friends. But that reunion might not be a happy one, as familiar and new tensions emerge.

We live in a day and age where reboots reign supreme.
But while many have unfortunately missed the mark over the years, quite a few have proven to be just as fun as their predecessors.
A few great ones have even outdone their namesakes in quality and longevity.
From the recently saved Magnum P.I. to the recently departed Babysitter's Club and Fox's Fantasy Island, we've compiled a list of the best reboots out there.
Of course, there are more than ten, so please let us know in the comments which reboots are your favorite!

It's not easy to match the same tone as the original, but S.W.A.T. has done a fantastic job. The casting is excellent, and while it has less humor than the original, overall, it's a terrific balance of the past and present.

Since this reboot began, I've discovered that a lot of people in my life (who I'd assumed were better versed in '80s TV) are unfamiliar with the original series and the format which, like The Love Boat, brought well-known celebrities on as guests with problems that could be solved in a short, rompy hour.
Fantasy Island Season 1 Episode 6 is probably the best example of cashing in on guest star appeal, reuniting Laura Leighton, Josie Bissett, and Daphne Zuniga, three core cast members of the 1990's smash soap Melrose Place, in one fell swoop.
Looking past the gimmicky nostalgia, there are strong themes of friendship and support, honesty and vulnerability. Sometimes, life gets in the way of being a good friend, but it's the good friends who will be there when Life disappoints.
Much in the way Betty White and Rue McClanahan took the opportunity to play against their type...

“Melrose Place” will host an unofficial reunion this summer on Fox’s “Fantasy Island” when Laura Leighton, Josie Bissett and Daphne Zuniga guest star as friends whose island birthday bash exposes the cracks in their friendships.
The all new version of the show, which originally aired from 1977 to 1984, will premiere on Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. Production is currently underway in Puerto Rico, with the date of Leighton, Bissett and Zuniga’s episode yet to be announced.
“Fantasy Island” takes place at a luxury resort where literally any fantasy request by guests is fulfilled, but these requests rarely turn out as expected. Each episode will tell emotional, provocative stories about people who arrive with desires and depart transformed by the island’s magical realism. Pretty Little Liars will return to stalk a new group of teenagers with its upcoming reboot.
HBO Max has added Chandler Kinney and Maia Reficco to the cast of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.
Kinney will play Tabby, an aspiring director and horror movie buff.

Maia Reficco will play Noa, a striving, sardonic track star who's working hard to get her life back to normal after a summer spent in juvenile detention.
It's hard to believe Pretty Little Liars is being rebooted, but maybe the move to streaming will give the franchise a bigger scope.

That's the Dynasty we know and love!
Dynasty Season 4 Episode 9 introduced a scene-stealing new character played by Laura Leighton, peeled back the layers on the dynamic between Alexis and Dominique, and so much more.
It was crazy, filled with soapy goodness, and may well be gasp, the best episode of the series.
Let's dig in!
Leighton's arrival found the show staging a Melrose Place reunion as she reunited with Grant Show.
I'm still not buying Blake working with Fallon at Fallon Unlimited, but if it keeps them on the same side for longer, it's worthwhile in my book.
Corinne was poised to be a villain thanks to Leighton's previous roles, but Corinne was probably one of the most genuine characters to grace the series.
Digging into Liam's past is an exciting direction to take things, and if Corinne knows all about the dodgy dealings that may or may not have killed his father,...

HBO Max has given a direct-to-series order to a “Pretty Little Liars” reboot from “Riverdale” creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the streaming service said Thursday.
Titled “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin,” the show will be set in a new town and follow a “new generation” of liars, but exist in the same universe as the Freeform series created by I. Marlene King and based on the novel series of the same name written by Sara Shepard. King is not involved in the reboot.
Here’s the official description for “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”:
Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago…as well as their own.

“Riverdale” creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is working on a reboot of Freeform’s “Pretty Little Liars,” TheWrap has learned.
Aguirre-Sacasa’s take on the teen drama, which was created by I. Marlene King and based on the novel series of the same name written by Sara Shepard, would follow a new story, focused on new characters. He is developing the “Pll” project for Warner Bros. TV — which recently absorbed “Pretty Little Liars’s” original studio, Warner Horizon — where he has an overall deal.
Showrunner of both The CW’s “Riverdale” and Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” Aguirre-Sacasa will executive produce the potential reboot series alongside Alloy Entertainment’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.
No platform is attached to the reboot, which is still in the early stages of development and has not been taken out to the marketplace yet.
Warner Bros. TV declined to comment on the “Pretty Little Liars” project.

If you watched Melrose Place in its prime then you saw Laura Leighton for certain since she was quite popular during the 90s and earned her way into the 2000s after becoming one of those in the business with a great deal of sex appeal and a very devoted fan base that loved watching her on screen. She’s still doing her thing at this point but it’s fair to say that while popularity hasn’t soared beyond the horizon a lot of people still might not know who she is since they were either too young or not born yet when
