The career of the actor Fred Louis Lerch was limited to the 20's.
He began his career in the middle of the 20's with silent movies like "Der Jüngling aus der Konfektion (1926), and "Der rote Kreis" (1929) - an Edgar-Wallace-adaption of director Friedrich Zelnik.
When the talkies arose he retired from the film business. He only appeared in front of the camera for "Um eine Nasenlänge" (1931).
In the 50s he returned to the film business, but not as an actor but as a production manager.
