- Frank Lewin came to the U.S. in 1940. He studied composition with (among others) Roy Harris, Richard Donovan and Paul Hindemith at The Yale University School of Music, where he received his Bachelor of Music degree in 1951. He was a professor at the Yale School of Music, teaching composition for film from 1971 to 1992, and at the Columbia University School of the Arts, where he taught the course "Music in Modern Media" from 1975 to 1989.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
