Harry Bosch is returning to Amazon Freevee on Oct. 20 – and he’s taking matters into his own hands to save his daughter in a new teaser for “Bosch: Legacy” Season 2.
The drama series’ second season finds Bosch (Titus Welliver) working alongside Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers) to track down a masked assailant who kidnapped his daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz) before time runs out. But as the FBI scrutinizes Carl Rogers’ murder, Bosch and Chandler are placed under suspicion.
In the clip, Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) tells Bosch that he needs to let authorities do their job to find his daughter, to which he replies: “Don’t cut me out!.” He also makes clear that while the FBI has to do things the “right way,” those rules don’t apply to him.

CBS All Access will not move forward with a second season of the experimental police drama “Interrogation,” the streaming service said Wednesday.
The 10-episode series centered on a case in which a young man was charged and convicted of brutally murdering his mother. The non-linear series was structured such that viewers were allowed to watch the episodes in any order, which CBS All Access billed as an opportunity for viewers to “follow the evidence like a cold case detective, abandon the linear narrative and determine their own investigative path.”

The addition of streaming services to the television landscape ushered in a larger wave of serialized programming, offering viewers the chance to binge a longer form story all in one setting. For a time, many believed the days of old-fashioned procedurals or sitcoms, of which you could watch episodes in any order because each one stood alone, was on its way out. That didn’t fully prove to be true, as the anthological storytelling structure was leaned into, creating standalone stories that all felt of one larger piece due to theme. And now, as these new platforms are in increasing competition with each other for consumers given the steady increase in content (more than 500 scripted series available per year alone), those two ideas have been melded together for one interactive drama: CBS All Access’s “Interrogation,” a 10-episode fictionalization of a true crime that the audience can watch in any episode order.

CBS All Access has given a straight-to-series to a true-crime drama “Interrogation,” which will have an atypical release schedule.
“Interrogation” is based on a true story that spanned more than 30 years, in which a young man was charged and convicted of brutally murdering his mother. Each episode is structured around an interrogation taken directly from the real police case files. The first nine episodes of the series will be available to watch in any order, and the conclusive season finale will be released at a later date.
“This non-linear approach to storytelling is closer to how real detectives work, picking their own path through the evidence in a search for the truth,” said Anders Weidemann, executive producer and co-creator.
