The actor Ferdinand Martini was a man who has made his mark on stage when he gained a foothold in the film business at the age of 48. In no time at all he became a demanded actor who often impersonated bigger support roles.
In the 20's followed a fullness of engagements in great productions in which Ferdinand Martini was convincing.
He also took part in some Alfred Hitchcock movies - "The Pleasure Garden" (1925) and "The Mountain Eagle" (1926).
When the talkies rang in a new era in the film business, Ferdinand Martini appeared only in few more productions, among others "Ihre Hoheit befiehlt" (1930), during the shooting he died at the age of 60.
