Jovanka Vuckovic, Zombies! An Illustrated History Of The Undead author and one-time editor of Canada’s Rue Morgue magazine, is in the final stages of post production on her freshman directorial effort, the fantasy horror short The Captured Bird. Bird is the result of an outpouring of support from fans and industry names, perhaps most notably, producer Guillermo del Toro, who ponied up donations in small and large increments when production first began. Other notable contributors include Steve (Ghost Hunters) Gonsalves, Neil (Hedwig And The Angry Inch) Lumlock, and “Spooky” Dan Wexler.
