Diana McLellan was born on September 22, 1937 in Leicester, England, UK. She was an actress, known for The Imagemaker (1986), Greta Garbo: A Lone Star (2001) and The Last Editor (2002). She was married to Richard X. McLellan Jr. and Robin Bull. She died on June 25, 2014 in Easton, Maryland, USA.
She started out as a dress designer and telephone operator. Her first newspaper job was in the classified ad department of the Star. She then worked in promotions, before parlaying freelance articles into a writing assignment in the society and home pages.
She wrote gossip columns in the 1970s and '80s, first for the Washington Star, then the Washington Post, and finally the Washington Times.
Her father was a British military officer who became a defense attaché in Washington DC in 1957, and she accompanied him there.
